Good morning LL and happy Friday!

Tarragon was especially loving last night and layed on my chest until I fell asleep with his paws on my chin. I think he was just as sad as I was. Everybody was more subdued this morning. Mason came home last night and has an interview at 9 am this morning in Tulsa. He will come have lunch with me and then head back to Norman. The fur kids were all very surprised to see him and gave lots of kisses and hugs.

A very heavy heart thinking of Michelle today. Scary news coming out of Boston. Today is also the 18th anniversary of the OKC bombing so there will be a lot of rememberances going on here. DH is running the OKC Run to Remember marathon next Sunday. His first marathon ever and, in light of everything, a very special one.

Hi Michelle, so sweet with Tarragon and the snuggles. I do think they sense when we are sad. A lot going on there this weekend in Tulsa. Good luck to DH with the Marathon. I am so impressed with anyone who can do it. Have a great lunch with Mason. I hope there were no more tornadoes. Have a nice Friday, Melissa.

Such a sweet boy! I think you're right...ALL of our kitties - FD and civvies, just "know". Truly a sad day here in LL.

Hi Melissa. Happy to hear that Tarragon had a good night's rest and is feeling well.

Enjoy your lunch with Mason and hope he had a successful interview in Norman this morning. Congrats to your DH for entering his first marathon. We wish him the best.

I think we all had special cuddles w/ our Kittehs last night. They know too! I'm glad Mason was there to cheer everyone up. Good luck on his interview!

I'm glad Mason was at home last night, to offer extra scritches to kitties, and smiles to the household. It is indeed a sad day, for many reasons.
It sounds like a very nice warm sweet feeling to have a cuddly kitty with you at night....I woudln't know, I get walked on and yelled at. :lol:

That's sweet Tarragon was comforting you last night. I hope Mason's interview went well and you had a good lunch. That's great your DH is going to run in the marathon next weekend. I hope Tarragon slid down today.
