Pinko this morning. Ugh! Good Morning Everyone!
Stu ate all of his bedtime snack and his +9 snack and still bounced into pink. Maybe it's the crumby weather. Maybe he went low last night? Maybe he's working on trying to stall off our trip to NYC tomorrow? (although he's a good passenger, those long car rides are tough for him because he doesn't eat much even though he has food available) Right now he is sleeping (unusual, since his habit is to be raring to go in the morning). So we'll see what today brings. The weather is supposed to improve this afternoon, so he'll enjoy going outside.

P.S. 2 hours later (at +2): We've been out in the garden. Stu was digging his cat holes and fulfilling 2 of the Ps (and carefully covering them over). Then he heard a commotion of dogs and went bounding over to the house. I guess he's feeling ok. His +2 is 273, so he's gradually coming down (the gradual part is good).

Awww....Stu might be wishing there was a party to go to....well, hope he is feeling ok....

As I remember it, Stu likes to drop when he is traveling...So, hopefully he will come down out of those pinks!

Morning Ella and Stu! Glad to see he is out of the pink and gradually getting there, lol! Hoping for some better weather for you! Where are you going on your trip? I couldn't imagine traveling with my cats, the car ride to the vets is bad enough!

Hey Stu!!.. haven't been by your condo in a few days.. couple sick kitties stealing most of my attention.. thanks for offering to make soup for Nova..she wants to tell you:

"Can you make any that has live birds in it? My mom got me this bird feeder as a present.. but it's broken.. no birds!! she even went and got a whole bag of sunflower seeds from the pet store to add to the bird food and sprinkle on the ground but it's not working either! What a crappy present. I want birds."

Hmm.. the bird food I used has the itty bitty sunflower seeds in it.. so when I asked at the pet store what cute little birds like, sunflower seeds seemed to make sense.. is there something I can just put everywhere that's sure fire successful? soak the area down with honey or or some sort of fancy bird attracting spray?

Surfing the blues, I see. Way to go, Stu. Maybe Stu is looking forward to his trip to the big city. I also can't imagine that long car ride with my kitties. You'd think I was killing them on the short ride to the vets.

Stu is a pretty good traveler. He rides free in the car, not in his carrier, which he hates (we take it with us in case of an emergency, but we fill it with his stuff). He sits between us on a blanket over the arm rest. He can get into the back (the back seats are down to accommodate the assortment of junk we bring with us), so he often just sits behind the front seat backs and looks out the windows. We carry a "travel" litterbox in the very back of the car (a Subaru Forester), and he usually uses it once. We carry our food and his in a cooler, and when we make a "pit stop" we put out some of his food and water for him. On the way down to the city there is one long, steep downhill with lots of turns about 45 minutes from our home. He always vomits there!! (So we bring newspaper and paper towels). On the way back home he's always OK. He rarely complains once we get moving, but he is very vocal at the start of a trip. I'm the driver and my legally blind DH is the cat watcher (he can see well enough for that!).
So we're off early tomorrow morning. I won't post Stu's condo for tomorrow until the late afternoon (it's a 6-hour trip).
Interesting that Stu's numbers have been coming down all day today. I wonder what that portends??

Hi Randi & Max, Maybe Stu will surprise us and get in a high green yet today (103 is almost green!). How's Max doing? We miss your condo. You can tell us how Max is when you visit us next. OK?

What point in Stu's Scyle are you leaving, lol.

Max is doing fine so far. Thanks for asking 2 tests today. 1100 he was 65 and 500pm he was 92. He was waiting for me when I came home and meowing in my face. It was like who stole my big oramge guy and gave me this imposter.
He misses his friends!!

Dropping all day and Stu has reached 87 at PMPS. I'm inclined to shoot a lesser amount because of our long car trip tomorrow. I'd appreciate advice. I'm waiting 15 minutes and will test again.

15 Minutes later and he's at 94. So he's not dropping, apparently, and I'm going to shoot a "regular" 1.50 (not the fat 1.50) then he gets his dinner. Will test again several times this evening. Thanks for watching.

Thanks so much, Libby and everyone! At +1.25 Stu is at 142 (he ate his dinner about an hour ago, so there's a bit of a food spike here, I suspect, but I think everything will be OK). I'll test again a couple of times this evening before we hit the sack.
We will be posting all this week, just not tomorrow morning. We'll be back home on Saturday, late afternoon. Thank you all so very much. I'll be around later this evening.

Actually, the King Tut is in NY again!! Starting April 26-Jan 2011!! I must catch it, as I never saw it!
