4/19 Sid hanging in there

Sid's appetite is a little bit better. He has eaten 3oz at breakfast and then about 3/4 can at dinner along with 2 oz of baby food. So not too bad. He is now on famotidine, prednisolone, leukeran (chemo 2x/week), ondanestron (finally got a prescription!!!!), mirtzapine (every 72 hours), and cerenia, particularly if vomiting.

I'm holding off on the feeding tube as long as I can. I've syringe fed many cats and Sid is not a candidate for that.

I'm also thinking about having the vet do a dental on his 4 remaining teeth. You never know. maybe that would help? Just not sure the vet will go for it because of the anesthesia risks.

Sid has been doing his "old" behavior of carrying toys around and meowing. AWWWW I love to hear that.

With everything your little guy is going through, his resuming old behaviors is simply wonderful! (((HUGS)))

I was thinking of you 2 today wondering how dear Sid was doing..
God Bless you with all those meds! I struggle with the insulin and vitamins!
I am glad to hear his behavior is good though...that is always such a positive thing
