Good Morning, Everyone,
Another beautiful sunny morning (apparently the last one for days: rain, which we need, is moving in tomorrow). Rusty had a good night. He ate well just before going to bed, so I guess it's OK that he ate only about half of his nighttime food. He has, however, put a good dent into his breakfast. We just had a good combing and a short schmooze and now he is at his perch, overlooking the east lawn, waiting to go outside to check on Chip Chip.
I'm busy baking brownies for our mountain club chapter monthly potluck. This is the last one until next fall. Our little group of friends, all of whom are Adirondack Mt. Club members, will keep on partying, since our goal is to have at least 30 parties a year. (A party is defined as any gathering with food and adult beverages; so our "film nights" count as parties.) (But we don't count our canoe trips, hikes, etc. as parties, since we'd be partying all the time if we did--also we don't take adult beverages on our canoe trips!)
