Yesterday was a day in the land of the blue lagoon. :-D I think Mannie had a great day: blues for most of it. AM cycle was close to green: so close with a 105. PMPS saw yellow, but even after a food spike he returned to the blues, apparently surfing the night there, YAY! :cool: We have a very nice amps this morning with a 117. Hopefully the +1 is a food spike. We shall see... Well done Mannie! cat_pet_icon

All is well in MannieLand. The boy was camped out at the slider door this morning, waiting.... waiting.... I got the "what do you mean I hafta wait" look when I told him we had to test and shoot and eat before we venture out to check the exterior perimeter. He does so love being outside. We had a nice afternoon yesterday: sunny! Mannie spent alot of time out there, sunning in his favorite spot. It was so great to give him pets when he came in and be able to feel the sun's warmth on his fur. :cool: :cool: This morning's testing, once started, was greeted with lots of purrs, no fuds dance for breffis :shock: but his clean plate club membership remains intact , auto feeder was used for his +2 and +3 :o :cool: :cool: , napping now in progress. The morning nanner inspection must have been OK: he simply went for a nap on top of them: no need to remove any lingering civvie smell. :razz: . All is well in MannieLand. :-D

Have a great day everyone! I am off later on this morning to Seattle for my weekly visit to friends, former co-workers. It will be good to see them again. :cool: :-D

My friends! I am soooooooooooo stoked and ready to go today! Back to Gracie's for catnip patch guard duty. I hope the security system had done its duty over night. The alarm company didn't call me, so I guess all is OK there.... Only a few more days remain.... so we gots to make them count! Zoe is bringing chickens today too - cool huh! Looks like more grillin'. WIllie? you still got them costco dogs? more for cabana bean? See you guys there! OH! We need to otj party plan too - they are coming up fast. ~~ Mannie

Hi Michelle, What a great report for Mannie today. I hope he has another good cycle. We have sun too, today. Rusty was out briefly, but I had to bring him in because the neighbor's cat was in our yard. Fortunately Rusty didn't see him until after I got him inside! I can see that this may become a problem. This is a new kitty who wasn't around last summer. (Tiny little guy with a big fluffy tail; named "Shadow". Wants to be friendly.)

Any hiking plans for today? I'm going to ride my clunker bike in the village later.

It's so nice that Mannie gets to feel the warm sun on his fur. Mine can't even go out on the screen porch yet, it's so cold.

Hi Bev - oh so true! I miss seeing these guys every day now that I am not working, so it is nice to head into the city once a week and catch up on things. and yes - I too hope Mannie will hold this nice and steady today.

Hi Ella - Looks like it will be a great AM cycle for Mannie - seems he wants to get down to business! -- and good luck with the new kitty in yur yard. Maybe Rusty will like him, maybe? if he knows he is only a visitor? I wish you luck on that one....

Hi Barb - right you are! At least the hair place i really close, and since mine is sorta short it only takes a few to cut it, so back before the Manster can do any serious diving... paws crossed! The DT Seattle trip is late enough into his cycle that all will be controlled by then. or so the theory goes... :? :roll: --- and I really hope that your weather arms up soon.

So glad to hear Mannie got some sun yesterday....I can just picture him; what a lucky boy!!!

Come on over frens!! Today we get to help the beans pick out COLORS for the deck!!! That should be lots of fun. I can't wait to taste Rusty's fresh fish on the grill!! Daddybean went and got us fresh tortillas (FD friendly of course) and we can have grilled fish tacos and mamabean made some fresh mango salsa with cilantro!! I hope the bad mens don't eat all of Willie's Costco dogs! And you should see the catnip patch...it's getting HUGE!!!

Hey Marje - count my lucky starts! or Mannie's! Isn't this great? It's been wonderful since we've upped his dose. I can only be grateful, hope this is the turning corner we have waited so long for, hope that it continues, be prepared it if doesn't. --- and yes on the sun - he is so very good at finding that one ray... yesterday was nice. his fav spot in the yard was under full afternoon sun for a few hours - he was just so content to sit out there, watch all, nap a little, take it all in. :cool:

GRACIE!!!!! SWEET!!!!! We can pick out colors??? really???? ok kitties - no funky stuff - this is serious business and us kitties need to show our cool, and knowledge of acceptable kitty colors for the deck - so no weird stuff. ok Gracie, we gots it covered. AWESOME ON THE PATCH!!! I so hope it is ready for sampling! this will be such a grand day - fresh fish from rusty, chickens from Zoe, and briskets of beef from Moonie, and costco dogs from willie if the bad mens didn't eat them all.... OMG!! and mango salsa,and cabana bean tacos and and and and.... SWEET. On my way! ~~ Mannie

I didn't feed the 90, and will see where he is at @ +6. Hopeful that he is on that board having a grand time at the green lagoon. :-D

Hi Ann - sweet on the green lagoon. :-D I am glad that those two have retired their teeter totter. :cool: and yes on the friends: it will be fun. By the time I have to leave it will be his +8, and he will be/should be fine. There is an advantage to the early rise. One of the reasons I have kept it is that he's done his thing, nadir has been found, and whatever lows he gives me are more often than not resolved before I have to be anywhere. well, so the theory goes. :lol:

Michelle, Mannie is doing so well!! I know you are lovin those greens. Glad Mannie could get out some and enjoy the weather. Simon wants to go out but the neighbor's cat "Mini-Me" has been hanging outside our door all day. I don't know why he is doing this because I am not feeding him. I am probably going to give in one of these days because he is so persistent. Meanwhile, my civvie Cleo is sure confused. She sees Simon inside and then looks outside and sees an exact duplicate of Simon. It is starting to play with her head! Hope you have a nice visit to Seattle. I just love that city!

What a great day in Mannie-Land! So nice he is able to lay in the sun. We are having snow/sleet/rain today so no outside or even windows open for my monkeys!

They are my favorite, and i defend them from the civvies at all costs! thx on my numbers, they seem to make my mama happy, though I don't get it sometimes. I feel the same when things aren't so great. it's kinda weird, ya know? You should try it! No snow today. We got a dusting in the city on Monday, though. We have thunderstorm and flood warnings at the moment, though.
