Gizmo must be feeling pretty good because he can’t stay out of trouble these days. He is always on top of the table anymore.
Tonight I turned my back for a second while my husband was turned around also getting food to put on the table and we found Gizmo on the table drinking milk out of my glass! He’s been through a lot lately and we feel bad but we had to start correcting him again. So we got out the water bottle, but he just doesn’t care. He jumped on top of the dog dish (it is raised several feet off the ground for the boxer), then he is walking across the desk and sleeping on the computer desk. Things he has never done before. My son found him sleeping on the middle of the table yesterday evening. This kitty thinks he is king of the castle (well maybe he is, but ... 
).
I increased his supper to 1/2 can of food. The 1/4 of a can wasn’t satisfying him and he is still losing weight. So since he is willing to eat more, I gave him more. He was averaging over 300 calories a day, but obviously it isn’t enough yet. After all, he used to be a 14-15 pound kitty.
All of this makes us look back and realize how sick he really was.
Just glad he is doing so much better now.
