I think Cinco is telling me he does not want a dosecrease! He doesn't seem to want a reducie, either. However, if he really likes this dose, I wish he would give me more blue pre-shot numbers. We beans are never happy, are we?
Cinco kept his snack down last night (the one he inhaled immediately after his first-ever barf). He ate only half his first breakfast, which has become a pattern with him lately, but cleaned up every speck of his second breakfast and asked for more (which he got). He stopped half-way through to visit the lb and leave me a large, smelly prezzie
:? , then returned and cleaned off his plate. Scooping boxes and deodorizing the house is next on the agenda!
Mealtime has become more interesting around here, as I am testing different foods in an effort to get the phosphorous level down. We have been alternating with the beloved Friskies, but we used the last can (except for the Special Diet Turkey) of Friskies yesterday and are now completely on the lower phosphorous foods. Amazingly, we've found several that all four participants will eat, and a few that only one picky kitty turned up his or her nose at. Some are on the second trial already. This morning was Wild Callings Jumping Salmon, and that was a hit. They don't seem to like the shredded varieties, most likely because they've been eating pate for so long, so the BFF flavors have met with only moderate success. I like pate better, anyway, as I think it's easier to mix the supplements into. I'm going to stock up today on the three or four varieties I know they all liked more than once, and maybe get a second and third can of the ones they liked on first trial. Who knew feeding kitties was this complicated?
BTW, I don't think Cinco's tummy upset was caused by a new food, as dinner last night was Evo's 95% chicken and turkey, which has been in the rotation for several weeks.
Well, I must go do something about that lb. I'll try to visit some more condos later.
Sending healing vines to all in need, including Amy's dad, and hugs to all the beans.
Cheers to Jersey and Davidson on continued success in their OTJ trials and a big WHOOO HOOOO to Boots on their 14th day of the trial. :RAHCAT :RAHCAT :RAHCAT
