Good Morning LL
Checkers isn't feeling so well this morning. I knew something was wrong when he stayed close to me and went onto couch for shot, instead of making me follow him to bathroom sink/tub.
He's stiff and seemed in pain, when lowering his back end to lie down. I gave bupe.
He has an acupuncture appt, this afternoon.

Last night's diarrhea seems to have been an isolated incident. I put lots of Fortiflora on +3 snack.
When I opened a new can on FF Beef earlier, it seemed too 'separated', like it had been in a warm place. I'm wondering if I got a bad can and fed it to my poor baby.

Poor Checkers. I hope he's feeling better soon. The bupe and acupuncture should help. Nice AMPS. Kind of surprising for him to be blue if he's in pain.

Hi Barb, sorry to hear Checkers isn't feeling well. Sending some healing vines and for the acupuncture to help. I accidentally left some Wellness cans in my car trunk recently and with the heat here I noticed the texture didn't seem right. I didn't realize it could go bad, but when I think of the trunk and a hot day. Keep us updated. It's a nice blue there this am for little Checkers.

Hi guys .. very nice start to the day numberwise .. I'm sorry to read that checks isn't feeling so hot .. hoping the acupuncture appt is not to hard on him (travel wise) and that he benefits from it like last time .. Have a great day guys!

Hi Ann. I didn't mean that it went bad from being too warm. In fact, I keep a few UNopened cans in my oven, with the light on, to keep them at perfect eating temp. Checkers loves the brand new warm ones.
I was just describing what it looked like...in retrospect, I should have just tossed it.

My thought was, if the can had been damaged, like had a tiny hole in it, and I didn't notice it. ya know, any kind of damage...where air got in it.

His tummy is fine today. :smile:

Nice start to the day!!! Hope he feels better soon... bet the accupuncture goes well and he enjoys it again!!!

I'm glad that Checkers' tummy is feeling better, I hope the acupuncture goes as well this tie as last time too.
 
This was a bad day for Checkers. His bg just kept climbing.
He started out this morning, with back pain. I gave bupe. He was unhappy for the 35 mile drive to the clinic, in a carrier.

He was crabby, growling, at the vet's.. I wasn't sure he wouldn't bite.
He complained slightly at every needle poke. He finally settled down and rested, while the needles did their thing. He slept on the way home.
He still was in pain when we got home, but I held off giving my last syringe of bupe to see if the acupuncture would relive the pain in his back. He's sleeping right now, but I'm unsure how he's feeling.
I'll probably give it to him, so he can rest comfortably overnight.
 
So sorry Checks isnt feeling well!!! Prayers for him to be much better tomorrow!! Hugs & Love from us..
Moonie was out of sorts today too!
