Yesterday's slide into the lagoon

Leave it to Zener, always coming up with some drama to keep his beans on our toes.  He's doing a little better this morning, still having some trouble getting around, especially getting up. He did have a picnic and did a bit of yard patrol this morning. He's napping on the bed but Annebean has gotten up to go to tai chi.

OT: Tillie is in big trouble. She like to chew on paper and cardboard. Today she was chewing on the solution to my exam! Good thing it wasn't student papers. That would be embarrassing.

Thinking of ailing kitties and beans and grieving beans too. It's been a year since we lost Mannie. We will miss him and all the other GA kitties too. We are so glad that Lucy came through her dental with flying colors! Paws crossed for OTJ trials - Boots, Jersey and Davidson. TGIF, LL!

More soothing butt vines for the Z-man! ❧❧❧❧❧❧❧❧❧❧❧❧❧❧❧❧❧❧❧❧❧❧❧❧❧❧❧❧❧❧❧❧❧❧❧❧❧❧❧❧❧❧❧❧❧❧❧❧❧❧❧❧❧❧❧❧❧❧

I hope you can figure out why it is such a problem this time. Uh-oh Tillie, caught in the act! If she does get into student paper, just say it was an independent , critical review!

Sending prayers for Zener. Hopefully he'll be feeling better and moving better soon.

Uh oh on Tillie and the paper. At least she only chews on it. Lucky always liked to shred any paper he found laying around.

Hi Liz and Anne
I am sorry Zener's bum is still uncomfortable.....
It must not be fun, to have painful bum.
Sending tons of soothing vines for Zener.

Thank you for the positive thoughts and and vines for Lucy's dental yesterday.

Re: 4/18 Zener PMPS 330

Yep, definitely the slide back up the down staircase. Thanks for all your visits and support!

Trying to find the right balance for our guy is sure a challenge, juggling so many different things. The FD seems to be the least of his problems at the moment {{{anti-jinx}}}. We can't be sure if he is in pain from hip/back arthritis, anal sac scarring, IBD or stomach spasms and decreased motility or all of the above. Our guy gets a little more fragile all the time. We can tell he has lost quite a bit of muscle mass from his hips and lumbar spine and that plus his congenital cerebellar hypoplasia make his getting up and down more difficult. We keep on keeping on, and try to find what makes him feel best while balance his appy and FD. Just a touch of Bupe seemed to make a big difference today.

As Zener tells us all the time, "pet more, worry less". cat_pet_icon

Sending more soothing vines to sweet little Zener and his awesome beans.

Tillie...you little imp  !

I hope all of you are able to enjoy a relaxing evening and are looking forward to a lovely weekend together!

Re: 4/18 Zener PMPS 330

Oh, Anne and Liz,

Our guy gets a little more fragile all the time.

I'm so sorry to hear this. I really wish I had some magic words of wisdom or the ultimate miracle cure. All I can do is give you tons of encouragement and support. I'm sending lots and lots of prayers out for Zener tonight.

:YMHUG: :YMHUG: :YMHUG:

Thanks all for the vines and healing thoughts, words of wisdom welcome too. ;-) Our guy is assuming his role as the gentleman cat of the house, and though he is more frail and wobbly, he never gives up. He is amazing! Right now MamaLizBean is incapussitated by our guy, otherwise known as lap time. All is right with the world when you have a kitty in your lap!

Looks like he is still having bounce time from last night's green, so the night duty bean may have an easy Friday night. I-)

Anne
