That was quite some party in Texas last night! Stu came rolling in very late. His cowboy boots were worn out from all that dancing! His blue bandana was in tatters! He had a great time. This morning he was up bright and early, pounding on the doors. Ate 2 installments of breakfast. Went outside to check on the birds, but decided not to stay out very long. It's too cold (36 degrees with an icy drizzle)! I thought that his bg might go low last night, since his number at PMPS was the same as at AMPS +9, but he "rallied" and it was 221 at bedtime and in the usual mid-yellow again this morning. Although we haven't seen much green lately, he's been having pretty good curves and I am unwilling to tinker with the dose (currently a fat 1.50) right now, because we will be in NY City for a few days this week and I won't be able to monitor as closely as I can at home. (Leaving Tues., returning Sat. My DH's last Ph.D. student is defending her dissertation on Friday.)
Now I'm off to water the houseplants, have a game of Big Bug with Stu, and ice a carrot cake I baked for our mountain group's monthly potluck supper this evening. (Stu was in Texas last night, so I had to make the cake myself--and although I like to eat, I HATE to cook!!)

Sounds like Stu really enjoyed the party last night! She appreciates the catnip dish he shoved under the piano for her. She nibbled on it late last night! Maybe thats why she is less interested in food this a.m.?!?!? Too full from the good stuff last night! :lol: Can I borrow Stu to come over and help her out this week? Whats the charge for a personal cat chef?

I hope Stu has an easy day planned for you. Enjoy your get together today!

OHhhhhh....Thanks a lot kiddo...now I have the most uncontrollable urge for carrot cake. :shock:

nice to see Stu popped down to the blues for you...and maybe is now visiting the greens.

You know, sounds like they all had one hick of a time at Hank's party yesterday. Spot is being very quiet about the whole thing and seems to be very happy just lounging around the house today.

Carrot cake...you mentioned carrot cake!! I haven't had a piece of that in forever!! sounds yummy. I hope you enjoy it!
