Hi Everyone! Rusty has been doing really well. He seems to be doing okay with the 2 unit dose. I'm not seeing any greens, although I think he's getting there in between certain tests (most likely around +10 and +11). Do you recommend I switch up the timing of the tests in order to see where he's at during those times?

I also gave him his first dose using my new Lantus pen this morning! I don't know why that was exciting but it was. I was able to find a pharmacy right around the corner who was willing to sell me single pens. They are part of our major hospital so the pharmacist said he could just pick one up on his rounds whenever I need one. They don't take that discount coupon but I'm going to try mailing it in for a reimbursement.

Anyway, just wanted to check in! Hope everyone and their kitties are doing well!

There you are. I admit I was stalking Rusty's SS to see how he was doing. He is seeing a lot more blues these day. It looks like a pretty good dose for him right now. Those low blues on an AT are still great numbers.

As for feeding, I would try not feeding after +10, you don't want his preshot number to be influenced by food, especially now that he seems to be give you some nicer preshot numbers.

Of course when I decide to check in, his numbers decide to go haywire! Although, I made a new thread about an issue I'm having with my meter/strips. I'm not entirely sure I'm getting true numbers and it's making me crazy.

Any chance you could occasionally come in a few hours early and grab a PM+10?
