Yesterday, I tossed Neko a dosecrease threat during the day, she made me eat it at night. :lol: And she got to eat HC!

Back to basic blues so far today, I expect she'll dip down a bit later. Right now Neko is curled up in the solarium sunshine. An almost unheard of thing here, first day of a spring long weekend here and it's sunny. :cool: Neko has been a good girl today. I've gotten some purrs, she did some grooming out on the deck in the fresh air, and she did her duty as backup alarm clock. When I was setting my AMPS alarm I accidentally set the AM to PM but Neko still managed to get me up on time. :-D

Thinking of Mannie today - it would be today that there is surprise sunshine in a day that had been forecast to be rain. Mannie/Michelle were so much of my early FDMB experience. Michelle taught me you could still have a life and have a diabetic cat.

Oh you should go look up cat alarm clocks on youtube. They have some funny ones....


I have called the compounding pharmacy in Santa Fe and they can't get bupe for me either.
I have the prescription in hand.... ( the vet doesn't charge for that ) but being a controlled substance they all tell me they can't order it. So I have to visit many pharmacies in hopes that I can find one that can. Walgreens said yes on the phone and then a week later told me no , they can't get it. :-x

Nice numbers for Neko last night and this morning. How nice on the sunshine at the beginning of a long weekend.

I liked the vet (same vet you got), and the anesthesia vet was very nice too!
(I was too agitated to peek at the fancy looking grocery store across the street you mentioned...)

I like it when the cat's surpise us and no increase necessary. Nice blues before nadir. I didn't get to know Mannie. I enjoyed the videos though.

@Rhiannon - I've always liked the Simon the cat alarm clock, but am glad the base ball bats are hidden away here. :lol: Bummer on the bupe, I wonder if there are any online pharmacies that will deliver.

@Carla - Still blue, but I expect not for long. They are predicting rain for tomorrow, we'll see.

@Mariko - Still blue - she does like to tease me with the occasional dip into green. I'm glad you had a good experience at West Coast Dental. The only other dental specialist I know of is on Vancouver Island.

@Liz - Still singing the blues, thinking of the BMG. Fresh spring catnip had a picking today too. :cool:

@Catherine - I think they like to tease us on the greens. Mannie/Michelle was a legend. I'm glad she still posts here - she is definitely family.

See - you all think I'm paranoid, but I'm actually not. The precious li'l kitties plot and scheme all the time! If they weren't such good back-up alarm clocks, would we even have a use for them? (Well, okay, they do make good foot warmers in the winter.) :lol:

So predictable. Neko does one good cycle, hangs onto it a bit with a decent cycle after, then zooms up to PS and beyond. :YMSIGH: Oh well, bean gets to sleep tonight, or I would if I didn't have to get up for rowing at +9 tomorrow. I-)

@Ella, Shelly - Nice blue day and it all fell apart at night. :roll:
