Good afternoon,
Another bad bounce this morning, but it appears to be clearing. As usual with high numbers, Mookie is tired and subdued today, but his appetite is good and he's purring during his ear pokies.

In the past week I've discovered Mookie waiting for his dinner on top of the cabinet over the fridge. He's never been allowed on counters or tables, so he must have figured out how to get up there when I was out of the house. This was his response to me saying, "you come down from there right now." :lol:

Look at how well he is coming down! There is no bad or good bounce, a bounce is a bounce, and it will pass somrtimes more quickly than others..Mookie Moon man is doing great!! Not to worry..He will
be down in a day or so, maybe later?? Bounce can take up to 72 hrs to clear.

Hmm - adding to the condo from another black and white. He seems to be clearing his ugly bounce.

So how exactly do you prevent him from going on the counter? Neko isn't allowed there either but that doesn't stop her. She's not as athletic as Mookie clearly is.

He's telling you what he thinks of your orders to get down :lol:
I too want to know how you keep him off the counters?

I heard slop slop the other day, and it was Checks playing in water in the kitchen sink. I had no idea he went there.
I tried all sorts of tricks when he was a baby, to keep him off counters.....yeah, they helped. :lol:

oh wow - and look at Mookie go! Wat a nice recovery from a rather ugly bounce. Stay blue Mookie!

Nice to see Mookie having lovely numbers and clearing bounces quickly.

He looks rather pleased with himself. Very cute! At least he didn't stay up there long since it looks like he decided to come down in dramatic fashion. He should win the rainbow kitty award for the day.

I can't really -- he's just not allowed to do it. :lol: Actually, both cats are pretty good about not doing it because I used a spray bottle of water when they were kittens and a loud "no" -- and still do occasionally. They've never scratched on furniture, either.

So far today we've had a high of 521 and a low of 171. The only color we haven't seen yet is green. I'm not even going to hope for it at this point. :lol:

Randa :-D I can't believe we're up at the same time either! I love, love that pic of Mookie waiting for his dinner on top of the cabinet over the fridge. It reminds me of my GA Siamese kitty who used to be a climber, and I'd find him in my cabinet with the door shut accidentally. Mookie sure does know how to break a bounce, Have a nice day and more pics, please. :-D
 
Thanks, Ann. I love looking at pics of our LL kitties.

I'm up late tonight because I'm doing a prep for a colonoscopy in about 6 hours. yuck. I just want to eat a big bowl of french fries right now. :lol:
