Blue seemed to have been the color of the day yesterday. :-D Mannie has had some great cycles on this dose - very few pinks, which has been wonderful. There is a level of consistency here that is so nice to see. He must have spent the night in the blues - we have a great 121 for PS# today. YAY! Keep up the good work Mannie - you rock! cat_pet_icon

I was awakened to the sounds of bellowing kitties: one in the hall, one at the foot of the bed, one in my ear. oh oh.... the bean had overslept, and we are 30 minutes late. :shock: :shock: And they made sure that I knew it. :lol: I could not test fast enough, feed fast enough, shoot fast enough. :roll: Despite my transgressions, Mannie was is one happy furry purry kitty. No fuds dance, just a "NOW!" stare and bellow, followed by alot on nom nom nom, more please while he ate. No surprise that he still is a member of the clean late club. Nanners were next on the list, with a quick check to make sure all is well, property was still his, security still in place. Napping is now in progress.... in his bed, with one watchful eye on the stash. Normalcy in MannieLand has been restored. :-D

Have a good day everyone! I hope to go hiking in a few hours, but need to see what Mannie has planned this morning before I decide to go: it's a ways away, would mean being gone until his +10, maybe +11, Jury is still out on this one.

Friends! WOW!! That was one awesome party last night. We caught so many fish, BIG fish! It took 5 kitties to reel each one in, a couple more to handle the nets. They were huge! Sure did grill up nice. YUM! Attie, you have the bestest fishing hole EVER! so.... for today.... I am tired, but still wanna hang out. Maybe some chillaxin' today? We need to do some OTJ party planning.... Maybe back to Gracie's to check on the patch. I hope them bad worker dudes are done. See you guys! ~~ Mannie

Hi guys .. I'm so glad to see mannie having some nice consistent blue cycles .. such a good boy mannie! Sorry to hear you overslept today but it happens and I'm sure the kitties are over it now that they have fuds in their bellies! Have a great day guys!

I don't think I've ever seen him surf like this for so long...have you all finally turned a corner?

I know when Attie hit it the first time he started dropping out a few days later.

Awesome Full Fish Moon party, Mannie. Yup, those were BIG FISH!! Boy was it fun reeling them in and then grillin' them right then! So, let's chillax today, maybe at Gracie's so we can keep an eye on the pool dudes. See ya later.

Hi Beth - I do so hope so! I know... these consistent blues are great - never before has he sustained them for this amount of time. Paws crossed that we have indeed turned that corner.

Hi Ann - Nice isn't it. Yep, waiting on that +2, all telling as usual. :-D We shall see if we head on out. Not too sure right now, as I would be gone for a while.... :?

Hi Devon - :lol: :lol: and yes, they are over it and on to better things. It wasn't the first time I was late, probably won't be the last either... and so agreed on the consistent blues. SWEET!

Hi Ella - oh yes, I so wanna go...... we will see where he is at by +3 and then decide if I can go. If it wasn't a two hour drive to get there I'd be out the door already, as the hike itself is a short one. The travel time has me a little concerned. well, even if we don't go there, I will hike the local stuff here. :-D

115 @ +3. down 40 points in an hour. hmmmm...... looks like it will be a good idea to postpone that hike. Bummer! but it's OK - Weather radar says it is raining there now, one of those "didn't see me coming did you rains". so... there is a -2.1 tide at the shore today around 11:30 so we will go there, as it is 20 minute walk from here, and check out the marine life that abound in this region. YAY!! An excellent substitute! There is so much to be found when the tide is out. :cool: :-D

Hi Marje - me too - this is great! dare i say he may have turned "that corner"? It is good to see small bounces that aren't running for a couple of days. anti-jinx! hoping for green today. :-D

Mannie - I will be over to Gracie's tomorrow to help watch the 'nip. Mama said she'd make boiled chickens for all the kitties , so I'll bring some lunch for us. Where did you get your nanners? My mama told me "You'd better shop around" :lol: .....ooppppsss, sorry didn't mean to start singing I can't help it, I'm just happy, she said she get me my own nanners if I wanted and I thinks I do - yours look awesome. What a great blue surf for Mannie today! Michelle, I am so jeolous of all the great hiking places near you. I wish I could just walk out my door and be really close to nature and to the water. If I want to go to a beach, I have to drive about 4 1/2 hours in any direction. Have a great evening.

Hi Ann - Mannie says he will do that as long as she promises to stay off the teeter totter. :lol: Don't worry - Tess will come around. I think the hardest part is waiting for them to do that. as you well know we've been around the track several times with Mannie. shesshhhhh - remember all the bungees and trampolines and cliff diving jokes? I hope that after three years he's finally getting there. paws crossed!

Hi Patty - me too! I know you will get there - it just takes time,patience, commitment. It's been a long haul for us. And - it is SO NICE. -- and I couldn't agree more - I am fortunate to have so many really great outdoor things so close.

Hi Iorwen - :-D and that he did! Even took one out in the yard, sunning and napping in his favorite spot. It is nice to once again feel the warmth of the sun on his fur when he comes back onside. :cool:

Hi Sherry - that they are - I have a new affection for the color blue.... I got the nanners through amazon: Nanners I think they come in a 3 pack as well as singles. I hope Zoe likes them. A few other people have also found them at Petco, though when I went there they did not have them - so not too sure on that reference.

Hi Ann and Maggie - isn't this great? what a great day for the Nanner King. I did get a hike in, just not the one I had planned. His +3 was quite the drop from his +2, so thought I'd better stay closer to home and not be gone for the 7 hours the other one would have taken. So I told him not to worry, his bean was home. then the little bugger stopped dropping! I think it was a plot on his part to keep me within sight. :lol: :lol:

Hi Georgia - thx! and oh my on the travel distance! aiyee!! I do feel lucky to have so much so close. the shoreline here is great; no sandy beaches, but full of interesting things. and the rest - most is within an hours drive, some is further, but blessed we are.

Zoe!! Really????? Chickens for us???? that is so cool. oh boy! Chickens. uh the nanners.... i think my bean got them at amazon... some mail order thingie. i just know they came in a big box, and I could smell them before she opened it. that was so fun. I opened the ox faster than she did. SWEET! they are so cool - tell your bean that you want them. I hope you won't be disappointed! See you at Gracie's! ~ Mannie

and thx on the walk. it was fun - what a treat to find those tiny little things in that creek. Low tide was nice too - not many critters out, but it was fun nevertheless.

and me too on the numbers and the sleep thing.... sorely needed! :-D
