Simon is having a good, active cycle. I never seem to catch the reductions! If I had to guess, he has earned one lately. We will shave in a few days if we don't find a 49 or less.

Here is the caterpillar my son named Maxilla 2. Maxilla 1 met a premature demise...DS tried to wash the milkweed he was on because it had lots of frasse (poo) on it. So sad. We had to have a caterpillar funeral that night. Maxilla 2 is ready to pupate! We are watching Maxilla 2 and Flower (named by my daughter) who are both J's today. I hope they pupate before bed so we won't miss it. We have one other pillar at home and 2 at school. The eggs have been sparse this year which goes along with the fact that a severe few days in Mexico froze a lot of them to death!

Hey they're not cats but they're CATs!

I'm glad you're feeling better, Kim. It must have been hard managing the little beans while you were sick. Simon, of course, doesn't need managing. :-D

Maxilla 2 is beautiful! I love Monarch butterflies, and always raised them when I was a little bean. Would you post a pic of the chrysalis, too? Have a great day!

Glad yo are better, been under the weather from overdoing it myself!

Glad you're feeling better today. Sometimes it just takes a day of resting, but those days can be so hard to come by! I've been under the weather this week, too. I think there's something in our Dallas air.
