Thanks for stopping by our condo yesterday and cheering us on, everyone. Your encouragement is always appreciated! Thanks, too, for the feel-better vines. I've lost my voice this morning, which is not necessarily a bad thing according to DH. He's such a pain in my rear end, but at least he did let me poke a cat this morning. Woot woot!
Shelly I am so sorry you have been afflicted with FSD. I am sending you anti-FSD vines...but from what I know about the disease the vines may not be enough. If you start to experience any urges to walk on your keyboard, lick the back of your leg, or randomly swat items off of the coffee table, you WILL need to seek medical attention. My thoughts and prayers are with you and your family during this difficult time.
   Kim, thank you for the vines and the medical advice. Fortunately, I have not experienced any of these symptoms. However, I did have some leftover food on my plate last night at the awards reception. I set my plate on the floor and began to scratch furiously at the carpet around the plate in an attempt to bury the leftover food. Needless to say, my behavior was not well received. As I was leaving the reception, my boss mentioned that she would like to have a little chat with me today.
I have to admit that I am quite concerned about Jersey this morning. She seems...well....nice. She cuddled with me the past two nights, stood guard in the bathroom this morning to make sure I didn't disappear down the shower drain, and purred yesterday when I petted her. What was most concerning to me was that she let me pet her for several minutes without any attempt to turn around and rip my face off. Please send some anti-nice vines for us today; there's just something not quite right about that cat! I can't even complete my daily PPIGS report! nailbite_smile
I have nothing on my agenda after work today except catching up on visits. I did read through condos as Jersey and I cuddled in bed last night. I'm so glad to hear that Lucy's dental went well. I'm also happy to hear that Trixie's grandpa is doing better. Thank goodness there have been no more reports out of Trixie's condo about s*** on DH's car!
Thoughts, prayers, vines (whichever type is needed), and hugs are en route to all in need. I also continue to keep those who have lost beloved kitties - whether recently or not - in my thoughts and prayers.
Once again, I'm wishing you all sunshine in your lives but blues and greens on your spreadsheets!
Shelly
