Good Morning, LL! Happy Friday!
I overslept this morning, but Cinco made sure I was wide awake pretty quickly. I was having a hard time getting enough blood out of his poor little ear at +4 and wasted a strip. I finally got enough to trigger the meter, and it said 10!!!
I took a deep breath and told myself it was not enough blood. Meanwhile, Cinco was calmly eating his second breakfast. I tested again and got 60. Whew! I thought I might get a green number, after that nice low PS, but holy cow, I wasn't expecting that! He is doing well this morning with his usual two Ps in place (Peeing and Preening - he rarely Purrs, altho the Oncologist said he was purring for them when they had him for testing and everyone was fussing over him. He almost never Plays, and he's not due for a Poo until tonight or tomorrow).
I was just thinking this morning how well Sasha has been doing since I started giving her the Slippery Elm Bark. My mistake. She didn't want her breakfast, so I left it in her usual spot. When I went up later to check on her, she hadn't touched it and I couldn't find her, but I heard the unmistakable sound of a cat heaving.
. She'd been munching on her dry stash, and threw that up. I cleaned it up and turned around to find her eating her breakfast!! Guess she got whatever was upsetting her out of her system. Cats!
It was so nice to hear from Rachel this morning. I'm still keeping her in my prayers.
I was so happy to read a good report on Lucy's first day post-dental.
More cheers for the OTJ trial kitties! Keep up the good work, Davidson, Boots and Jersey! :RAHCAT
Sending healing vines to all in need, and hugs to all their beans. :YMHUG:
