Yesterday's kind of kooky numbers

Well, yesterday was a strange day with some wonky numbers thrown in for (what seems to be) no good measure, but still not awful, so I'll take them (like I have a choice)
The best laid plans of mice and men got sidelined by the weather today too. Had asked DM yesteray if after she got her hair done today, would she like to go over to Osage Beach to Outback Steakhouse for their steak & lobster tail special ($14.99!) and of course she said yes. She has 2 ladies there that come to play cards with her every day who hardly ever have any company or chances to get out, so I'd told her if they'd like to come along, I'd be happy to take the lot of them. (Of course they said yes!)
Then the storms moved in ....One of the ladies is 68, DM is 85 and the other one is 93, so with some pretty significant storms coming in, I figured that maybe it'd be better to wait for another day that's not so wet
Then found out at the hair salon that tonight is prom around here, so I guess it's best that we didn't go...every decent restaurant in the area is going to be full of kids tonight
But my taste buds were all primed and ready for a great dinner!! Oh well...guess it'll be even better in a few days when the weather calms down
So instead of steak and lobster, it's just you and me again China....so let's have a nice quiet evening, with some laps in the shallow end of the lagoon!
