Polly's hanging tight with the mostly mid to high blue numbers. We'll settle 'til she decides to move on her own. You know, Polly, I'm off work through Tuesday so if you want to throw some drama in the picture, now would work!

Boomer got a 0.1 dose of bupe last night. (A friend has some on hand; I figured it was worth a try.) He cleaned his late night snack plate. OK, it took almost 30 minutes, but he cleaned the plate. And then groomed. This morning he ate almost all his breakfast, groomed, and jumped up on the desk in the office when he was finished.

I have an e-mail in to his vet. Hoping he can get bupe from them.

Day by day with the boy. Savoring the time we have. Just glad he's much more comfortable.

Vines and wishes.

I hope Polly slides down to the lagoon for you. I give Callie bupe three times a day and it makes a difference for her. It was the only thing the vet said I could do for her. The vet wanted me to give her 0.15 ml, but that was too much. I finally found 0.06 ml works for her, but she only weighs 4 lbs. I hope your vet can give you some for Boomer. :bighug::bighug::bighug:

I hope you have a lovely, normal day with your furkids. My mom had this poem in her things and I've always loved it:

“Normal day, let me be aware of the treasure you are. Let me learn from you, love you, bless you before you depart. Let me not pass you by in quest of some rare and perfect tomorrow. Let me hold you while I may, for it may not always be so. One day I shall dig my nails into the earth, or bury my face in the pillow, or stretch myself taut, or raise my hands to the sky and want, more than all the world, your return.”

Thanks, @julie & punkin (ga). That poem is perfect. I truly believe the last waltz can be the most beautiful as long as we focus on the dance and let the sadness wait 'til the music stops. We still have music in this house.
@carfurby Got the bupe from the vet this afternoon. The boy just awoke from a good sleep to come jump on the couch for some headbumps and scritches...well, he headbumps; I scritch!

Polly, meanwhile, has found the sun spots out in the enclosure. And with her numbers falling into such a predictable range, no more tests 'til PMPS. Lucky girl!

So glad Boomer is still doing good and you can make him comfortable. Polly's out working on her tan. The weather here has been nice in the 60's Toby has been outside working on his tan too.
Take Care, Enjoy the day.

I'm so glad you were able to get the bupe to help Boomer be more comfortable--gentle hugs and scritches to your crew from us! You're so wise, for all of us, it should be one day at a time, making the most out of each moment! Prayers and vines being sent in truckloads!

@julie & punkin (ga) good grief, you're making me cry again, as if the Mannie condo wasn't enough! Thanks so much for sharing that poem though, i hope you don't mind, I saved it.

A good day for cats in the sun.
You know, Polly, I'm off work through Tuesday so if you want to throw some drama in the picture, now would work!
:cool::cool::cool::cool: Nuff said.

More scritches for Boomer. I'm glad the bupe is having a positive effect. QOL is what counts.

I'm so glad you thought to try the Bupe, and that your vet gave you some. It's soo hard to know if they are in pain sometimes, until you give them something to make it go away and you see the difference in their behavior.

Miss Polly looks lovely in blue. I hope she tries on her green dress for you tomorrow.

Sending vines for Boomer.
