Lousy yesterday

Yesterday was not a good day for our guy, his butt hurt and he was having trouble getting around and his appy was poor. :sad: :sad: He did eat a lot last night and is doing ok in the appy department this morning. We gave him an adequan shot last night so maybe that will help. We are also hoping that his anal glands will calm down from the expression on Tuesday. He did have a picnic this morning and went on yard patrol - that's always a good sign.

OT: I see a bird going in and out of the birdhouse in our front yard. I think it's a western bluebird. Paws crossed that it's nesting. :-D The flicker in the backyard is still looking for a mate. I hope it finds one soon as it pecks quite loudly on the birdhouse at 6:30 am every morning. :lol: :lol:

Thinking of ailing kitties and beans and grieving beans too. I hope Rachel is doing ok. I know how much she misses her Chyna kitty. Tons of vines for Lucy's dental today. And no-licking-your-shaved-tummy vines to Cinco. Tricia talked to multiple vets yesterday and she is holding off on chemo for now. Paws crossed for OTJ trials - Davidson, Boots, and Jersey. Go, kitties!!! :mrgreen: :-D Happy Fursday, LL!

Sending soothing butt vines for the Z-man. He certainly has been having a hard time w/ it lately.

Oh, i hope you get a bluebird pair! They are such pretty birds.

Awww, poor Zener. So sorry he's still having a pain in the butt (that's better than being one! :lol: ) Sorry, I couldn't resist. ;-)

Seriously, I'm glad his appetite is getting better and he felt up to going out and getting some exercise. Sending many healing and appy vines.

Sending prayers for Zener to feel better. That must be pretty uncomfortable. I am glad that he was eating more and doing yard patrol. Good signs..

I hope Zener is feeling better and his butt is not bothering him as much. I hope he keeps sliding down.

Zener seems to be feeling better this afternoon and evening. Serious yard patrol, healthy poo, and an outdoor nap in the sun.
Appy much improved {{{anti-jinx}}} and Zener has his slide on. Thanks for all your visits and butt feel better wishes. :YMHUG:

Chair is still on solid ice, surrounded by open water! The cold temperatures the last couple of days slowed down the melt.

Even more healing vines for Zener's butt. A cute little tush can never have enough of those. But it's good to hear there is improvement and appy. Nothing like a nap in the sun to cure what ails. :-D

Good luck on getting a nesting bluebird. Flickers here can be noisy too. Occasionally either they or the pileated woodpeckers like to go after some metal on our roof. :roll:

Our guy does love to slide, and safely is not always his plan. :twisted:

Night duty bean is rested up and ready to go, if we have a Fursday night PJ party. :cool:

Looks like the night duty bean is napping and getting another test. Our guy has slid into the lagoon. It's a classic all day Zener slide. ~O)
