I have been trying to give Tiggys ears a break so haven't been testing as much. Plus my tiredness means I can't get up at night - but at least I now know the cause of tiredness - I have low iron! So hopefully the supplements will kick in soon and I can get some energy back.

Tiggy stole all my energy - last few days he has been totally nutty running around attacking everything that moves and things that don't. from what I can tell he is still doing his bouncing and 6 units seems to suit him.

Hi Wendy:

I know you are worried about Tiggy's ears, but I really think you need to get some mid-cycle tests every day. Especially when the pre=shot numbers are blue or green. You may be missing a really low number, and maybe even a reduction-earning one. A lot of us use Neosporin with pain relief on the ears after poking. Try to poke a different spot each time and alternate ears. I'm not as smart as a lot of the people on the board, but it makes me nervous to see blue pre-shots and entire cycles with no tests several days in a row.

Hang in there. I know you're having your own issues right now. I hope the supplements help you feel better.

Sending healing vines for Tiggy's ears and energy vines for you!

Tiggy - get down from that pink this instant! The Pink full moon has come and gone already.

I alternate testing Neko right and left ears. I start on the top in the morning and work my way down the ear during the day so any one area just gets one poke a day. That plus the Polysporin really helps. I'm with Tricia that a second test each cycle is important. Tiggy can surprise and even a before bed test will help to tell you if he's bouncing because he's getting low. Anyway to convince DH to help?

Bummer on the low iron. A good friend of mine has/had that and found out she has a number of allergies that contributed. For her, the killer was wheat. One year she could barely hike a couple hundred yards up a hill, the next year without wheat she climbed Mt Huangshan with us. Good luck finding out the cause.
