Sorry it has been so long since I have posted but life's little bumps in the road have just gotten in the way. Things are going pretty well around here. Simon is still bouncing all over the place, going very low one day and very high the next. Through it all, he has remained my snuggle bug. Due to his arthritis, he no longer can jump up on the couch, but he has no problems going up the cat stairs to my bed. I can't believe that in just a few short months he will be 18 years old. He has been diabetic for 4 1/2 years now. Hard to believe!

I just got a wonderful surprise. A nurse that occasionally works with me just brought me 2 unopened vials of lantus insulin -- expiration 2016. Yay!!! This is going to save me SO much money. Another co-worker gave me an unopened bottle of Levemir. I am happy to ship it to someone that may need it. It expires in 12/15. Everyone knows my kitty is diabetic and they really want to help me with the cost. Such wonderful people.

Anyway, everything is good here. I have missed catching up with everyone and will check back later today after work. Happy Friday!

So nice to see a condo for Simon and to see that he is doing fine. I didn't realize he was that old! Go Simon!
How neat that your co-workers help you out with Simon's insulin.

So nice to see you Georgia! Great to hear that Simon is being sweet and snuggly. That makes it all worth it. It is hard to believe that he will be 18. Time does fly. We joined not long after you. Amazing how well Simon is doing. That is a HUGE surprise with the Lantus. Have a great great day!
 
It's great Simon is doing so well and being a snuggle bug. How nice of your co-workers to help out with the insulin. That's great Simon is almost 18.
