MORNING! HAPPY CATURDAY EVERYONE!
Scrabble was pretty frisky when I got home, must have been partying all night with Max, now I told him he must rest up for Hank's party!!! He pooped and peed right when I got home and ate all of his breakfast!!! Thinking of getting an auto feeder for the night time, what does everyone use? Randi suggested the one from Petsmart. I will definetly need one when hubby goes back to work. Anyway, gonna stay up and get a +2 since he seems to drop at this time and I have been getting +3's instead so I can sleep a little but want to see what his +2 is this morning. This is day 6 on this dose.......you know what I will be asking tomorrow (anti-jinx!!!!!)(ANTI-JINX!!!!!!)

Yes, 5 compartment auto-feeder from Petsmart is ideal!
I use one for Shadoe during the week when I am at work, and it is perfect to spreading out the foods portions nicely.
The feeder does make a whirring sound when turning, so what I did was to get Shadoe used to it while I was around. The first few days she did not want to go near it, and I just left it on the floor with no batteries and let her get used to eating from it.
In very short time, she learned that sound and would come running into the room to get her foods.
One very good thing is that you can set your own times for the turns and by seeing which sections still have foods, you can adjust times or at least know when Scrabble has not been eating. For Shadoe, the afternoon one is usually not fully gone as she naps around that time.

I like that you don't have to worry about no foods for a long stretch of time.

I use the catmate feeder, if that's the one at petsmart--We have NO petsmart around here, but have another pet store that is great--ou can also look for feeders on amazon.com--Beautiful numbers today :mrgreen: -Happy Caturday!

You go Scrabble! What a sweet amps you have there!! You know you are making your mama bean sooooo happy, don't you?? Of course you do because she's probably giving you so much love and praise!

Michelle, I got the Petsafe two day feeder for Spot. It makes a lot of noise, but it doesn't seem to bother Spot. The only thing I wish I did different was to get the five day one. There are times when I can't be home for his +9 snack and can't put it in the feeder because I've already used it for his +3 and +6.

I bet he will like the noisy one, once he realizes that the noise means food. :lol:

One of my civvies, would run from the other end of the house, when he heard it whirring, to watch the LitterMaid box clean itself. :lol:

Looking good my man Scrabble.
Not bad for a guy that partied really hard last night and is so ready for Hank's tonight.

The feeder actually would startle me, when there were nights I was staying up
testing Max but that cats don't care because it is empty every morning.
the best 50 bucks I ever spent!!

So everyone talks of these autofeeders..but what about the fact that it's CANNED food and canned food doesn't stay fresh or taste good out for hours. Does it actually keep it cool, also?

Nice numbers today Scrabble. :mrgreen: Funny with the 8's..guess the PM broke the chain.
Hope your Mom lets you strip naked for the party tonight. Though you look awfully cute either way.
I just imagine you will do the freedom happy dance at least upon initial strip,

+2 70, will get a +3 before I leave! I do not know about the canned thing Betty, I did read the review on-line about it and it said you could use canned and it is air tight sealed so I am not sure. Will have to pose that question to others since I was wondering about the freshness too? Scrabble just got up from his nap with me so he is off to have some catini's tonight, keep an eye on him, he likes to drink!!!!! :-D
 
Well hello Scrabble!!!! You are so handsome in your new shirt. When did that photo go up? Sorry I missed the unveiling.

Such lovely numbers (anti-jinx) and it looks like tomorrow might be a banner day (anti-jinx).

Now about the feeder...I bought the two compartment one at Petsmart - it's not digital. Didn't really notice that until I got home. We can live with it, but not as accurate on the time as I would like (that or I haven't quite figured it out).
