Enjoy the paddle! Rusty will hold down the fort. Thanks for letting the big guy party last night. Leo is still tanked out!

Rusty. Dude. Too many Niptinis and falling out of the tree into the jacuzzi. Ohhhhh, but wasn't that the best! Thanks for swinging the hammock around and flying off the kittehs! You are the best! ~Leo

Re: 4/17 Rusty AMPS 132

Hi, Ella, Rusty is looking good today! I'm sure he will be able to watch over the lagoon from IN the lagoon.
Paddle safely and have fun!

Re: 4/17 Rusty AMPS 132

Hi Ella. Nice AMPS for Rusty...not so low as to keep you from your outing and not to high to prevent a little Lagoon surfing latter in the day.

I guess since you're on the way to your first canoe trip of the season that Edward is feeling better. (I haven't read all of your condo from yesterday as yet. Wanted to get this post in before leaving for an app't.)

You and Edward have a wonderful canoe trip and a great day Ella.

Re: 4/17 Rusty AMPS 132

Have a great paddle! I'm glad the ath local dentist could make Edward more comfortable and that you don't have to go all the way into the city!

Rusty! I'm headed back, yesterday was not my fault. IT WAS THE BEANS!!! -- Tess

Hi Ella........you must have had a blast, out on the water for the first time this year.
I'm sure Rusty stayed in great numbers while you were gone, cuz, he's such a good boy. :-D

Hi again,

The Lake Abenake "icebreaker"--our traditional first paddle of the season--was terrific. It was a beautiful day--bright blue sky, not too cold (but the water was COLD). We avoided the icy parts of the lake. We saw wonderful birds: a pair of bald eagles, a pair of ospreys (sitting on their nest), a flock of Canada geese, lots of wood ducks, and--the best yet--at least 8 loons. Fabulous day.

Rusty went outside when we got home and had an encounter with his adversary, the Shadow. But it was a benign stand-off. It looks like he had a good day of numbers and is green at PMPS.

Thanks for visiting us. It was a long day with a lot of driving (3 hours in all). The paddle was only 6 miles, but there was a pretty stiff head-wind on the way back. We're going to veg out in front of the TV very soon!

Ella & Rusty

Rusty - you and I started the night from the same spot in the lagoon. Cool, surf's up!! ~Neko

Sounds like a great paddle today Ella! I can imagine you are tired from that long day, but at least the season has officially started. :-D
