Good morning all. Moe's BG when I tested first thing this morning (5:00 am, +9 after PM shot) was 200. He ate a pouch of TikiCat mousse and AMPS at 8:00 am was 328. Shot 3.5 units. I sure would like to see more yellows today!

My poor boy is suffering from diarrhea from the Clavamox he's getting for his mouth. I have been giving Proviable with his 5:00 am first breakfast and he gets the abx two hours later. Is there a better probiotic I can give to help him?

Renew Life Ultimate Flora is a probiotic many use; another one is Florastor with S. boulardii which is tastelesss, you can sprinkle on food.
Always give it at least an hour apart from AB. Hope it helps Moe!

Thanks for these suggestions. Oh my gosh, why are probiotics so dang expensive?!? I looked at both of these and there are so many different versions of each of them. How do you know which one to get?

462 at +9. Moe’s appetite has been excellent all day. He wandered out of his isolation room and came downstairs to hang with the rest of the pack for a little while this afternoon. Now back in the upstairs bathroom to rest for a while.

PMPS = 410. Pink and red all day, and this evening’s shot is the sixth at 3.5 units. Time to increase back to 3.75 units, I think.
