SO over the past few days Jack has been as high as 338 and as low as 73. We are still on the 7units because the lows happened in the middle of the day, and he was high at the PMPS or he had the low at the PMPS and ate a high carb dinner and a reduction would have been a pointless exercise resulting in higher numbers. 
Had to go back to NYC yesterday, so not really a good data collection day, but the neighbor poked in twice and reported Jack as being alert and moving around, enjoying the extra attention, so I didn't press for a BG reading- especially since the neighbor isn't entirely comfortable doing them. This morning we had 125bg and 0.2 blood ketones. His blood ketones have been holding in the 0.2-0.3 range most of this year, so even though he is having bouts of higher numbers, the ketones aren't really being overly affected. I got a great suggestion from @Diane Tyler's Mom about putting Parmesan cheese on his pate so that's on the grocery list for tomorrow's shop and hopefully Jack decides it speaks to his inner 'Scooch' and decides to be a good boy and eat only pate for dinner. Really hoping Jack decides to cooperate, after yesterday's trip to NY it is clear there will need to be quite a few more before things are hopefully settled at the end of the summer.
