Hi guys .. well eating on her own is something to be happy about!! Lower numbers will come in time, you just have to hang in there .. have a great day guys!

I'm certainly happy about that:) I think the combination of the bounce, trip to the vet and little bit of dry food are the reasons behind thse high numbers. Hopefully she can clear these numbers soon:)

at least she's letting you go to work without worrying!

Nice one Julie!

You're right, I'm definitely not as worried when I leave the house when she's that high but the poor girl looked uncomfortable. My mom just got diagnosed with diabetes and she says she gets a burning feeling when her bg goes up. I wonder if cats feel the same thing?!

seems to me that punkin feels ickier when it's changing a lot up and down. i also notice he's lethargic anytime he gets into a lower range for a day. i think of it like if someone takes away my beloved caffeine - might be natural to be without, but i don't like it. you do get used to it after a couple of days though. gotta think if their natural state is under 100, 400's must not feel very good.

you may learn a lot from your mom. that's interesting.

They must!!! Maybe that's why my laptop battery is dying!

Just took a 1.5 at 176. She hasn't been eating as much as usual so this may be contributing to the low numbers. This may be an active cycle. I'm so exhausted!!! I should just start cat napping now:)

Yay Ella for some nicer looking numbers! That blue definitely looks so much better on you :)

Glad to hear that she's feeling better. Hopefully now she'll just start eating like her normal self too soon!

I think it must be burning inside when they are on a high bg. Ive noticed Rosy was sleeping all day on the glass dinning table during the winter mths before her dx. While her civvies are on an electric blanket.
