I would just avoid opening the fridge as much as possible - that will keep everything inside cold. We've left ours out on the counter overnight and it was fine, so I don't think you need to worry.

I hate it when the power is out for an extended period - we are just so spoiled with our modern conveniences! I hope yours comes on sooner than expected.

Okay, Chuck, time to get off the trampoline!
 
Do you have any gel packs in the freezer that you can move near the area of the fridge where the Lantus is kept? I think the Lantus will be fine. If it gets warm it just might not last as long.

Chuck's on his 6th consecutive cycle of this dose and doesn't look like it's getting him where he should be. I would increase in the morning back to 8.5 units.
 
Not as much movement as I expected with the increase but that's ok. I'm sure we'll see better numbers in the morning.
