I had no intention on posting today because generally I have nothing interesting to tell. However, Mika decided to change that.

Just had LOTS of excitement. Mika brought a little squirrel into the house (I was awoken from my nap by a strange SQUEAK!!!). As I threw a towel over the squirrel to catch him, Mika grabbed him by the neck. I finally got him away and let him loose outside, where he quickly ran up a tree (I think he's okay - I tried to look but had no gloves). Then, I came back in and noticed that Mika had mud all over her feet. So, I tried to put her in the sink to wash the feet. She decided to make me bleed. I have LOTS of deep scratches from my belly to my head. Mika was yelling bloody-murder so Boo and the drooler came to help. Boo decided that it was the drooler's fault, jumped on her back and bit her...meanwhile, the poor drooler is cowering, trying to get away from these crazy cats. Once she had a moment to run, she squeezed herself behind the toilet (this is a 40 lb dog!) and Boo attacked her a few more times. Ugh! Mika was so upset she was panting, the drooler was so scared she was trembling, and Boo is giving me dirty looks.

OMG! I wish there was a video of THAT event, you'd win a top prize on America's Funniest Home Videos. Oh, sorry, maybe it wasn't funny to you, but your story-telling was.

Yikes. We have excitement if a bird gets in the house, nothing compared to this.

Hope none of the punctures or scratches on anyone are bad.
