Good Friday Morning, Everyone,
Big weekend ahead with PARTIES!! Stu has been up all night cooking a Canadian menu for Max's OTJ party today. Here are the offerings: Appetizers-- Paté of muskellunge; poached Canada goose eggs. Entrées: Venison stew; Bouillabaisse of St. Lawrence River bass and walleye. Dessert: Tuna gâteau. Stu is on his way to the party as I write. He can't wait to see all his friends. He's hoping that all the lady kitties will save a line on their dance cards for him. He just got in from a stroll in the garden, where he encountered the deer family. They observed him; he observed them. He didn't want to come in, but DH went out and got him. Then we had a game with Big Bug. The Automat worked fine last night and Stu was able to get his +9 snack. Everyone have a great day and a good start to the weekend.

Chef Stu - your menu looks great. Tuscany can't wait to try it all. I've asked her to back a peoplebag for me and bring home leftovers - I like fish, too!
Tuscany has met the deer in our yard. She was out on her leash (dragging it along, I figure eventually it will catch on something). I was working in the yard keeping an eye on her. She ended up at the end of the lawn/woods area and a little while later out came some deer. They couldn't figure out what she was so the deer kept coming closer and closer. They were only a few feet apart and then Tuscany chased them! The deer were so scared they ran off. It made me laugh so hard. She has done that a few times to the deer.

No deer here :lol: :lol: , but we have many other critters--My kits dont go out(dangerous here)but have a big floor to ceiling windowed room
so when the windows are open, it's like being outside--We found them out there after 6 mths took them in, so thye have no desire to go back out "in the wild" :lol:
Menu looks great for tonite!! Stu's yellow will come down by afternoon-Moonie cant wait to see Stu tonite!! Have a great Friday! :mrgreen:

Hey Stu, I didn't know you were a gormet chef. I hope there's some left by the time I get to the party. I'll see you there, Blackie.

Ella & Joyce, I love the deer stories. Especially the image of Tuscany chasing them LOL. I hope Stu comes down to the blues today.

She is looking forward to his delectable feast....what a guy! And he is such a good dancer too from what I have heard.... ;-)
He sure does keep these kitties well fed. thanks a LOT...when they come home after Stu's wonderful gourmet foods, they look at the canned stuff and say "WHAT is THIS? :shock: STU doesn't make us things from a dumb CAN!!!!" :lol:

Stu, the food is amazing.
Boy I'll have problems when Max gets back and expects me to whip up all of your
delicacies.
It was very kind of you to throw in some Candaian specialties today and seeing
that Hank lives in Texas, well you better start working on your country cuisine.

Max will miss your wonderful stories in our condo but we will be visiting yours.

Hey, Stu, looks like you really cooked up a storm for Max's party today!! By what I hear, the food is very tasty and everyone is very appreciative!

So, you think you could come on out of the yellows and give us a nice blue today?? I heard that excercise helps brings down your bg's...I belive dancing at Max's party would be a good idea!!

Austin not Texas...it's different! No country here. Think barbeque, Tex-Mex, Margaritas, migas, guacamole & chips, longnecks & Margaritas! ... and in true Austin style: hummus, organic or soy anything, gluten free, vegetarian..all the good hippie foods.
I personally don't do the beef...but Hank can have mine. Margs on the other hand...! drinking24


Everything is sure Yummy at Max's..you are quite the Chef!

But let's get some more comfy numbers for you before we do any more cookin'....make Ella-bean happy.

Yay for blue for Stu!!!! Boy Stu is sure whipping up some nice specialties!!! Mmmmm a bbq feast for Hank, sounds good, Scrabble is a big fan of chicken so he is wondering if there will be any at the party? Boy these kitties are going to be pooped out by the end of the weekend! I told Scrabble he must wear his shirt until all the festivities are done, the ladies really think he looks cute! Have a great day Ella!!!

I think Stu spent too much time in the kitchen today. All that hot air elevated his numbers. Sure hope he comes down tomorrow. But then he's going to cook Tex-Mex tomorrow, and that will add a bit of heat!
He's off at Max's party, dancing his feet off. Everyone have a great evening.

Go Stu, go!! I heard tell, that Stu really shows off for the ladies. Not that Checkers tells much about the parties. He did say Stu brought the best goodies, of all. Checkers is fond of the pretty girls himself, so he admires Stu's way with the ladies. :smile:
