I'm kind of late today posting a condo because I had to get out early and run some errands. Last night and today Simon finally saw some greens again!!  Simon is doing well today except he is driving me crazy with wanting to go outside and explore. I sat outside with him for a little bit but then the wind start blowing really hard and Simon got scared. You should have seen him run like crazy back inside! Of course, 5 minutes later he is back at the door howling to go out again. I think he is back to his old self (yea!)

Last night, we had a pretty bad thunderstorm and tornado warning. The weather people said that there was possibly going to be a tornado in our neighborhood in 9 minutes. You should have seen us scramble to get everyone in our little crawl space downstairs. My DH, me, Simon and Cleo in her crate (because she is very uncooperative) were crammed into this little space with blankets on top of us ready for the tornado. Thankfully, it never happened and all we got was alot of thunder and lightning. I guess it is always good to practice a tornado drill!

Have a great day!

I saw that last night - about a tornado north of Atlanta ... somewhere. Glad you are all ok. Getting the whole crew gathered up and into a safe area must have been pretty frantic. Wild weather.

Yeah for the greens for Simon! And yes, it's too windy to go outside and play. It's dark and windy... a good time to take nap.

Oh how scary about the tornado! So glad it didn't happen. I had to laugh about Simon going outside and running back inside. It reminded me of my GA kitty who did the same thing. Something would scare him and he would run so fast to get inside, only to start yowling and wanting to go back outside. Nice greens for Simon.

Glad to see Simon's numbers down in the green!!!

as per the tornado drill....it's a good idea to know just in case....i have a backpack with Rocket's fluids/meds and some cans as well as Comet's food in case of a fire here....a few times the alarm has gone off and only twice we got the cops knocking on the doors to evacuate us....the first time it happened was in the wee hrs....back then Rocket was healthy so no meds required....but it was winter...so DH was in charge of Comet while i held on tight to Rocket (he doesn't go on a crate)....everyone was outside with their pets...Rocket wrapped in a blanket....they even brought in a bus for us to go in as it was pretty cold outside....it was scary but i was glad DH was home to help me with Comet....

since then i make sure i have the backpack with their stuff just in case....and i now have a note on the door to not forget his insulin from the fridge ;-)

hope your day is better today....you are supposed to be relaxing!
