Good Monday Morning, L&L,

Rusty's breathing is not as bad as it was yesterday, but his appetite is poor ( he did eat some of his breakfast, but none of his nighttime foods). I almost decided to skip his shot this morning because of his poor appetite, but then decided to give a token shot: 1 drop. We have a vetty appointment in the early afternoon for a shot of the steroid Depo Medrol and a B-12 shot. The Depo Medrol has really helped him, so I hope that this shot will get him breathing (and eating) better again.

The roads are very icy. Most of the schools in the entire "North Country" are on 2-hour delay. But I think we'll be ok by the afternoon. The winter weather advisory is still in effect, but the freezing rain/sleet/snow has changed to all rain. bbl, Thanks for all the vines for our boy.
 
Sending vines for Rusty. Would an inhaler help the congestion?

And do be careful on the roads. The storm continues here. We've seen freezing rain, rain, snow – all in the last hour. Ice is falling from trees and power lines. Trees are falling. The Volvo is covered in layers of ice and snow, and I've been ploughed in by the snow plough.

Weather is not so bad here. It's 40 degrees F. Everything is melting.
Don't think an inhaler would work at this point: Rusty won't tolerate anything near his face in any event.

Rusty finished his breakfast (FF tender turkey for Kittens). He sounds much better today. But we're going to the vet anyway. Leaving in 15 minutes.

We're back from the vettybean. She was in surgery, so the 2 techs gave him his shots (Depo Medrol and vitamin B-12). All is well. Rusty is much better today (even before he got his shots). When we got home he ate almost all of his lunch, so it's good to see him eating again. At present he's lounging on the radiator.
Roads were very wet, but not icy.
