Good start to the rainy day - It's actually mixing with snow and Pedro would only stick his nose out the window - disgusted with the weather.
He ate well last night with his little bit of cypro in him.
So continuing my cyst story from yesterday's condo and the request for description:
he licks his tail bald in spots (no fleas on him) and the cysts maybe hairless, raised soft lumps usually the size of a dime or slightly smaller. Skin can look a bit pink but he is also licking at it. Some of the cysts may be up above the spot he is licking at. He may only get one or as currently he has 3. some pop and drain other just reabsorb.
A little history - he did get bit in the tail almost two years ago (picked a fight with his buddy and lost). Developed an abscess which vet cleaned up...
He did not have the cyst problem prior to this abscess . There may be no connection between the two but I wonder. He has been on antibiotics for different things since then so I thought if there was some sort of low grade infection that lingered it might have taken care of it.
The Seborrhea treatment has not helped- tried it twice now. I will probably end up back at the vets but thought I would pass it by here for thoughts.
Will also post on Health.
