Oh my goodness...this is really high. I never had it this high. It would be off the meter if I was using the AlphaTrak. I gave him food last night and I also got up at 4:45am and gave him food. This is really bad. Should his dose be 1.2 or more?
I think I would try the 1.2u and see what happens. Merlin seems to come down from those high pre-shot numbers fairly easily. I'm guessing you may still be seeing some bounciness at work from those green numbers yesterday. What do you think?
Merlin was constipated this morning but finally had a BM. You could tell that he was really uncomfortable and in pain. Afterwards he was fine. I have been adding quite a bit of water to all the cats wet food (FF Classics) so much that for Merlin, it is on the runny side. I read somewhere in this forum that maybe by adding a little Miralax might help.
Also I noticed in the past 3-4 days that maybe something is going on in his mouth. It is only for a few bites but he stops eating then he is doing this grinding thing or it looks like he is trying to get his alignment correct. I called a Wellness Clinic and they can get him for a dental check on 4/24 and a dental clean on May 19....that was the earliest.
Thanks for the link on constipation. That is the thread that I read earlier and heard about Miralax. Well, we are back up to 423 and it looks like I will do 1.2U. Probably another late night of monitoring.
Good dose choice, Cindi. He really had a pretty good cycle today, if we figure the amps was partly due to constipation. Maybe if you get a before bed test and he is looking good, you can sleep?
