Good Morning LL!! ~O) ~O) ~O) ~O) ~O) ~O) ~O) ~O) (YUM! Elsa outdid herself this morning: PRIMO!), and Happy Wacky Wednesday!
LL! It's is I, Elsa, KBP!, president and CEO of Coffee Cat! Life is GOOD! GUESS WHAT! GUESS WHAT! Today is WACKY WEDNESDAY!!! Just like every Wednesday Lola and Bug SWEAR that it won't be wacky pizzas, just wacky Wednesday. Whatever that means.... The whack-a-thon marathons continue. Excellent pizzas to the best whacker! so... well... Coffee time! For today, I proudly offer Elsa's special 10 hour energy coffee, and triple shot espressos, with beans from Starbucks Pike Place Market, their original blend, AND.... for all my Mocha fans: a venti quad peppermint white chocolate mocha, with peppermint infused whip, garnished with peppermint candy chips and white chocolate shavings. SWEET! OH! No worries, a dollop of mint and vanilla and cimmamum swirl ice cream, on top of a dollop of fudge, topped with peppermint chips and chocolate drizzle.... Ahhhhhhhhhhhhhh....... mega good!

I hope everyone had a great Tuesday, that the day was a good one. Mine was a little laid back, though I did get things done, just didn't travel or hike yesterday. The local trails won out, as I really did need to get tings caught up at home. SO we did! Weather held too, which was nice. This is what I wrote last night on the day: "Hi everyone! I hope your day has been a good one, and the evening even better. We did ok here, much better than expected. I think we made 65, some sun today, and it is now just starting to cloud up, waiting on those rains tonight. Day has been nice however. I got things caught up, house cleaned , laundry done, and even got my car tested for tabs renewal. Just too exciting isn't it? i did make it out for a long beach walk too, at Meadowdale, tides were out, so I could explore some. That was fun. Surprisingly no one else was there. YaHOO on that! On the way back from the emissions place I went by Scriber Lake, so decided to stop there for a short walk. It's a nice trail, pretty little lake, maybe .7 miles to do the loop. Not too bad for downtown lynnwood. Parts of the trail were a soggy mess, that lake overflows every spring.... or anytime we have heavy rains. We manged to navigate those parts OK. so went the day here today.... :-D "

Normalcy in MusketeerVille!   The kitties were good kitties yesterday, even Lola, for the most part... Lola will always be Lola. The weather was borderline most if the day yesterday and downpour by 6PM. When it was overcast that meant a sleepy day for the kitties. They all take one look at that and head off to nap. When it was sunny they all were on high alert. It was as if there was this switch that was triggered by a ray of sun.  And Lola? She still likes to look out the windows, rain or shine. Still pounding on them, still running from one to the other. Yesterday was cleaning day. AND (!!) Lola was my helper, big time. I had gotten the dust mop out to remove the surface dirt from the floor. Lola though that was great fun, and decided to attach herself to the mop.  At one point I had her, without bag, both paws hooked on the mop, and she was going back and forth across the floor. OMG! That was funny... and things sure were clean then! !! I wish I had the camera for that segment. I did go get it, and took the following video, by now her bag had entered the cleaning efforts... WHAT A CAT! Normalcy in MusketeerVille!

Have a great day everyone. I am back on Nicholas and William duty today. Nicholas and I are off to swim this morning, while William spends that time at the other grandparents. We are due for rains as far as the eye can see today. I so hope they are wrong, so that we can at least get some time in at the park. I will try and get to condos when I can....

KITTIES! Remember: think BLUE, think GREEN!! cat_pet_icon

   I love the video of Lola. She's a crazy fun kitty.

I hope the swimming went well this morning and they're wrong about the rain.

Hi everyone! I hope your day has been one of the bet. We have had alot of fun today - wooHOO! We made 52 under mostly cloudy skies. Rains were off and on, but the did give us a break about 12:30 or so so we could be out for some outdoor time. YaHOOOOOOO! It has been a great day here. The energizer fishie swam in the morning, per the norm. We almost got in that swim test, but not quite. At least he is sorta SORTA warming up to the idea. I learned today that there will be no big pool time for him once summer session starts, unless he does lessons... oh boy what a catch 22 it all is. SO I really hope we can get him on board with all of this, soon, It is tough to convince a three year old that all of this is mega cool. He voes to swim, but really isn't sure that lessons are wonderful. Anyways- he had fun today, all the usual fun things, once again swam back and forth in the big pool on his own. They had brought in a bunch of beach balls in the beach area, so we played with those alot. He had a blast with that. Good day in the pool, and we did a little over two hours. He wanted to go the the new playground we found last week after the pool, and since we did have that weather break I figured why not? The pool weather was windy and rainy, and the park, a mere two miles away, it was calm and overcast. LOL: worked out for the better. They have a glide line there, aka a zip line, that he got to try this time too. Wow - what fun! LOL: I will feel that tomorrow. It required I get him started and keep him going, all 40 pounds of him. Can we say Phew! Took them both home for a well earned nap after all of that. Been a great day. And back at it tomorrow. :-D I will post the Picassa link in tomorrow's condo.

Hi Carla ~O) Thx on the video - too funny huh. She is such a crazy fun cat. THX on today - we had fun in the pool, and well, sorta on the rains, We managed to dodge the rains for the most part. Been a great day.

Hi Michelle,
What a great video of Lola!! What a bundle of energy she is! Now you have to teach her to mop the floor by herself

Too bad that the big pool will only be used for lessons this summer. What is the policy at the other swim club? I'll bet that Nicholas would like swim lessons once he got started. Do they have them for 3 year-olds? Lots of decisions coming up, I see.

Oh boy on the zip line! I hope your arms are OK tomorrow!!

Glad you got in some nice, easy, quiet walks yesterday. It's great when there are not crowds of people on the trail.

Have a good evening, guys. Thank you Elsa for the ~O) . Tomorrow I will be going on a bike ride. It's going to be cold, so I would love to take your delicious coffee with me in the car to drink before the ride begins.

Ella & Rusty

Hey Elsa, thanks to you, Bug and Lola for all the help with the party last night. The pink pizzas were delicious!
~ Rusty

Hi Ella ~O) THX on the vid - she is fun, isn't she? I will be working on teaching her how to mop. That tail of hers could do a great job! I know on that big pool.... They do have lessons for 3 year olds, we just need to have him take that test so he can join them. For whatever reason he just won't do it. Very apprehensive, and ism not too sure why. I agree: he will love lessons once he starts them. I will be looking at the other pools nearby to see what they have in the way of a deep water big pool that he can be in. There are 3 pools, so maybe on of the others will work too. -- LOL on the zip line! I have to push and pull some to get him moving.  -- yes, so agreed on the trail yesterday - that quiet time was really nice!
Auntie Ella!!!!! You gots it! I will bring LOTS for your bike ride tomorrow. it will keep you nice and warm, I SWEAR! See you then bright and early! Is it still cold there at your house? Can I hang out on the radiators with Rusty? ~~ Elsa, KBP
