Yesterday's Leo's "I'm so excited guys, I'm getting the place Ready to Party" Condo
This bean woke up to Leo circled next to me with the most peaceful snuggle face. I got a little hand licking, and then a little chew as I told him what a good boy he has been through all the pokes, late late nights, all day surfing food-fests, syringing Karo and honey (since His Royal Fartness doesn't like HC). Most ESPECIALLY I told him that he only has to get into the Magical Box of Terrors ONE MORE TIME to go back home on Thursday. I am so excited he won't have to endure two 4-hour trips each week, with all the vomiting, liquipoos, pees and drool-fests that accompany them. I will miss having having him with me during the week soooo much - now I'll be a lonely bean 3 nights a week - but it certainly isn't worth the stress and BG-blasting trips for weekday love.
MOMMY IS SO PROUD OF HER LITTLE GUY!
Hey guys - I rested up real good - time to party! You are all the BESTEST kittehs and I'm SUPER glad I gots you all to hang wif, and all the train rides, playing in the snow and cannon balls in the jacuzzi, grilling and chillaxin in the treehouse and by the radiator, zipping around in fast cars, hanging in the sand dunes and making bonfires, heading to the city for egg rolls, and all those stuffs! I keep coming but you'll have to get me at the back door in NJ, 'cause I won't have to go in the scary pukus-making box anymore, and do all sorts of accidentials in mommy's car. I can't waits!
See you at the party, grillaxing and chillaxing and jacuzzi cannonballing and swinging in my hammock!
...and thus, the King of Fartsand Rainbows has spoken!
And I would like to thank all of you from the absolute bottom of my heart, sideways and up-side-down for being there for us from our very first "hello we're new and diagnosed" condo. And special thanks to those of you who stayed up late nights with us, calmed us during our first couple freaked-out green-lagoon-dredging nights, made us laugh later at silly bean mistakes like knee-jerk feeding upon seeing a low pre-shot, and especially-especially-especially for those directives to "SHOOOOOOOT!!!!" those low numbers and receipts of several Balls of Steel posters for pushing the plunger. Thinking of these things makes me smile all the way through.
So I have a couple To Do's on my list:
1) Update Leo's sig line to say his OTJ! Been waiting for that excitedly!
2) Ordering Leo a new tag that no longer says, "Insulin Diabetic"
3) Smashing the alarm clock with three three separate alarms, all named "Leo"
4) Finally cleaning up his testing area, putting away the calipers that have been sitting there since the last shot because of my anti-jinx fears!
5) Removing Leo's supply crate from the front seat, removing the platform I installed between the front and back seat, removing the LITTERBOX and all the pee pads taped everywhere!
Hurry up guys - I is waiting for you at the back door! ~Leo
