Last nites numbers weren't near as bad as AM numbers, but we're going ahead and trying a new pen today.

Once I changed the pen, things started to settle down. It did, however, take a few days since the shed had to be refilled with good juice. Like Gayle said, change out the pen and give it a couple of days to see if you get back on track. Unfortunately, it's trial and error. What I've found is that Gabby is very sensitive to the insulin. I change pens at 28 days.

I'm hoping thats all it is for KiKi also -- keep your paws and fingers crossed

I hope the pen change does it! The SS was looking good til these last few days - hopefully it will be just a few days and kiki will be back on track

Atleast his BG is lower than it was @ PS -- that is hopeful! In the previous 3 cycles -- he has always been higher than PS. He cleaned his whole dish too! The other thing I noticed (since this new pen) is that he is groggy again . . . I will keep an eye on him and see how long it lasts.
I looked back and we went thru this early-on in our start with Lantus. Maybe it WAS the insulin and this new stuff is packin a punch. I guess only time will tell.
