Yesterday...

I'm not sure what he's bouncing from today. I haven't seen him come down from the last bounce. If he doesn't come down tonight... at what point should I start considering an increase?

Ugh, Chino seems to have lost his greenios. I used to wait 6 cycles after the last green, to make sure there wasn't still a bounce going on, before I'd increase. I think you are fine to go up when convenient.

BTW, missing the dose in this morning's AMPS spot.

He's at it again... dropping over 100 mg/dL in the first 2 hours. He might well be under 200 at the next check, and will be getting HC with his next meal at +4.

I'm not going to give any R this week, even if he bounces above 400. I want to see how quickly he breaks bounces when I don't try to step on them. I gave R two days in a row and I think it prolonged the bounce that's breaking tonight.

Does the 10u sting Chino? Bronx was starting to flinch at 6 or 7u of Lantus

He doesn't show any signs of discomfort. When we'd gotten to around 4.5 units, there were a few times when he shuffled to the left when I was injecting on the right (and vice versa) but now I position my leg on the opposite side of him so he can't go far, and he doesn't react in any observable way when I inject. Looking back, I think he might've been reacting to the amount of time I was messing with his fur, since it usually happened shortly after a fur shot, when my confidence in my technique was low and it took me longer than usual to find a good spot and inject the dose.

Slow down Chino - what's the rush buddy? Good plan to see what he does without R.

I think the sting is ECID. Karen's Lily is still on Lantus on a higher dose and I've seen others well above 10 units.
