All seems well in Rupert world, although he seems a little ragged looking, a little more lethargic and drinking more the past couple of days. Missed posting yesterday, was (still am) feeling a bit bummed about stuff in general.

yesterdays numbers:
AMPS 174.6
+3 363.6
+6 444.6
PMPS 423

Didn't get any tests last night because we were out at a big dance.(Timebenders, if anyone knows them).

well, I guess it's a flat cycle. but it sux. Plus it took FIVE test strips and pokes before I could get a proper test. Poor Rupert, growling and unhappy with me. He's usually so patient. He's gone outside on the deck and is refusing to talk to me.

tonight we have potential cat sitter coming to meet us. I hope she works out okay and they all get along. Would be nice to know that we could get away for a break SOME time. Still haven't sent entries in for the horse show in Vancouver on May 10... stalling till we see how things are with Rupie. He seems to be doing okay, I just hate seeing a return to these nasty numbers again.. he was doing so well. :cry:

Well, phooey on this cycle. I know what you mean about feeling bad when the kitty feels bad. It is lousy. Hope he gets to feeling better.

Rupert got company at those numbers. Rosy's there...These two are really a pair! :roll:
Glad that you have a lovely evening with the dancing! Sometimes we need to have a break.

Rupie, Rupie, what are you and Checkers up to now? Can't you two get it straight....it's down, not up!

I hope you and the sitter like one another, Pip, and she seems reliable. :smile:

+2 and 113?? seriously? we all KNOW where this will lead tomorrow don't we?! ohmygod_smile

potential cat sitter lady seemed very nice. Rupert didn't like her though.. sigh.. although he's edgy with new people so hopefully once she is actually living in, he'll be okay. She's going to come back again a week before we go away and I'll get her to actually give him his shot instead of just watching... hopefully he won't run off again. sigh.

+4 and Rupie reclaims his diving crown. Egads. He's had a teaspoon of Fancy Feast Turkey and Gravy with a teeeeensy drop of corn syrup and is preening on the couch. I'll be up with him till he reaches less scary numbers. Funny how the first few times around this was incredibly freaky, and now I'm almost ho hum (well, not completely!)...

of course, I"m dreading the bounce that this is likely to produce, but I guess he's telling me well and truly that he does NOT want to stay at 2u.

HC obviously working. will test again at +5ish. Am guessing this is probably the beginning of a monster bounce. Fingers crossed he maybe doesn't panic quite so much?

After yesterday, I am happy for someone else to take over the diving crown! But don't go to getting all bouncy Rupie - a nice surf would look good on you.

For the next petsitter visit, you should also get her to feed Rupert. I have a friend who has done petsitting for my two and whenever she comes for a visit, Neko heads straight to the kitchen! The first time she sat for me, Neko hid outside and wouldn't come in for ages (mine get locked in at night). But once Neko associated her with food, she was hooked. And that was before FD.

Nice idea from Wendy! Hope Rupie doesn't pull the basket ball impersonation on you - but I don't have high hopes - congrats on the reduction though :smile: and yay for some dancing!

He seems to be surfing nicely in the ~70 area... will give him one more test at +6.5 and then hopefully I can get to bed! that one late night on Saturday proved that I'm too old to stay out having fun till the wee hours (we did actually get home by 1am!).... good grief! Was hoping to catch up tonight but as usual Rupie had other plans!

for his dose reduction tomorrow, since the 1.75 didn't seem to hold last time (unless it was still a bounce)... I think I'll go with a f1.75... unless anyone has objections?
 
+7 and 73. Nice surfing Rupert. I'm heading to bed. will try and check him around 3am, but I think he's gonna be fine. Feeding one more tsp HC food now. Have a good night everyone!
