Ripley is doing great!!

It's hard to believe that 15 years ago today my sweet Ripley and her sis (Lucy, GA) were born.
My friend's cat had 4 females in her litter. I was only supposed to bring home one kitten (I had dibs on Lucy), but when I went to get her I came home with 2 kitties!

When Ripley was diagnosed last November with diabetes, then with CKD and anemia, I thought it was the beginning of the end. But thanks to this board and help from AMAZING, supportive people here, Ripley is doing great. Why, she's as spry as a 12-year-old! :-D :lol: :-D

We enjoyed spoiling Ripley yesterday:

Ripley's new cubes and fetching treats from new toy. Ripley traded her bday hat for some ribbons. Marley is celebrating, too!

Josie, what is the treat toy, Ripley is playing with? Do they have to pick the treats out of it?

Thank you, Barb! Ripley's toy is from Target, made of lightweight material (like the cubes) and has holes ~ I think it's meant for small toys, but Ripley would rather fish treats out of it. Silly girl! And Marley is a silly boy ~ he loves to play dress-up. Wore that bday hat for about an hour! :-D

Hi Josie. Sending wishes for Ripley to have a very Happy Birthday. Her AMPS is a low blue so I hope she can still have a small piece of Birthday cake. She's awful nice sharing her cubes with Marley.

It looks like quite a party there, and Marley is taking it all in, too. Those hats are adorable! :-D Ripley is so pretty and looks like a kitten. I'm so glad she's doing so well and no wonder with an awesome Bean!

Thank you, Rachel! :-D Ripley and Marley didn't mind the hats ~ Ripley sat still long enough for me to take lots of pics, and Marley wore his for about an hour :lol: . Silly animals!

Thank you, Ann! :-D You're so sweet to compliment both of us (Ripley with her kitten looks, and me as a good bean). We both appreciate it! I had fun making her hat ~ it's custom cut to fit her little noggin. She didn't even mind the elastic band under her chin :lol: .

I love the Party Vibe on the board today ~ Star's OTJ, Leo's OTJ-Eve, and Alex & Fur Ball's Birthdays, too!
