A beautiful day here. Pedro up and about early with all P's in place.
Today is a pred day.
I didn't give a cypro yesterday to see how he did and he did eat less. I'll see how he does during the day today and if he is still a bit low on the food chart I'll try 1/4 cypro. Still tring to figure out what he will eat now that he turns his nose up at his old favorites.

Nice AMPS, Pedro will come around w/ the food. Suddenly this morning the food that was no good yesterday was just fine w/ Tess today. :dizcat How has the LB action been?

Re_ the LB action. His normal contributions.
I wonder if he associated his feeling sick from pancratitis with his turkey and chicken food and raw diet. None of which he will touch now.

That's a valid theory. I can't eat my mother's meatloaf for the same reason, when I was a teenager I was very sick for months and she served meatloaf that first night.... end of story, no meatloaf for me, ever.

Pedro's numbers are looking good.

So we took a little jump up deeper in the blues tonight.
Had to cypro tonight as he didn't eat more than an ounce or two today and he left me with a nice hairball pile.

He has this problem with cysts on his tail and he seems to be in a bad phase right now. It's been going on for a little over a year. Will be fine for months and then bad again. Currently has 3 little ones filled with puss. We've treated for seborrah several times but nothing seems to work. Everything is fine for a while and then he starts working on his tail again and gets a bald spot going. Kinda chicken and egg thing. Does he work on the tail and get it irritated and cysts develop or tail is irritated so he works on it?
I'm wondering if he is a bit elevated now because he has the cysts.
would really like to figure it out.

I have no experience with this and you might want to post over on Health for some ideas.

My knee jerk response is that if there's an infection, it might bump up BG levels.

Poor Pedro's cysts--Hope he feels better soon...Once I got salmonella from chicken & couldnt eat it for months..
Pedro had nice numbers today!

This might be TMI, but can you describe what the cysts on his tail look like?

I have a friend with a cat with a very similar condition. They look like raised bald bumps, red around the edges, shape of a stretched dime. Sound familiar?
