Yesterday was a full colour rainbow slide, starting with possible recovery from a fur shot down to what looks like a fabulous night. :mrgreen:

Judging by that AMPS this morning, Neko spend considerable time in the lagoon last night. Which means that this morning her liver reacted in the predictable way. ohmygod_smile I went btb after breakfast, but she was whining up a storm about +1.5. I suspect that's when her liver was sending her skyrocketing. Normally she'll patiently wait by Otto (BFF autofeeder) for her +2. I had to give her a tiny advance from her +3 and that quietened her until Otto delivered the goods. Onset also helped.

After her post breffs nanner session, Neko promptly headed for her solarium basket where she has been lounging the last couple or hours. Gotta take advantage of sunny days here whenever you can.

I've gotta do a bit of work on taxes today, but am hoping I can get out for a bit. Tomorrow is bean dental/PT visit day.

It's a day of contrasting emotions here. So happy to see Star OTJ and Leo almost there, but heavy hearts thinking about Michelle and Mannie just down the road from us.

ETA: For those who asked yesterday, DH's boat came in 3rd of 5 in their heat. Not bad. The expected winners always win by a large margin. They used to row and coach at our club. As our coach said afterwards, they won "yesterday".

Hi Wendy,

Looks like Neko is being ... Neko! What a nice surf she had there, now NO REDS LITTLE GIRL! :lol: She and Otto crack me up. It's good to hear that there is some sun for a warm kitteh snoozing afternoon.

Good luck getting the taxes done. Hate that.

Looks like Neko spend the day hovering in the pinks. :evil: We had a hailstorm around +7 which probably didn't help things. She's now back in her basket, kneading away with a look of total concentration.

@Lisa - Either we avoided the reds, or I avoided testing then. :lol: Pink surf instead. :roll: Got most of the stuff ready for taxes, we meet the accountant on Wednesday.

@Mary - Neko is slowly coming down. No idea what she'll do tonight though. This was DH's first 1000m race. We've done 500m and 5km. 1000 meters is a very long sprint, just under 4 minutes. He said he was coughing like heck after - apparently it's called rowers cough. :shock: Not appealing to me.

@Carla - Neko is edging down, just another classic Neko inverted curve. :lol:

Well, Neko, let's see some more action tonight, you and Zener, right? I had to look up Canada tax day (April 30). Good luck getting them finished. Did DH have fun at the race?

Yeah, another long night ahead of me. Time to haul out the recording of the board meeting minutes and start documenting. :roll: Almost as fun as taxes. :lol:

@Rhiannon - She was back out there at +4 which is 11:30 PM. Loves that fleece!

@Liz - Looks like a PJ party here. Late nadir nights are killer. :lol: Got most of the tax prep done, accountant gets to do the dirty work. DH did enjoy the race - it's a nice course and scenic area. It's also a "fun" regatta, some are more serious than others.

Recording meeting minutes? How boring, Wendy! :? Fore sure you'll feel sleepy soon :lol: Did you feeed Neko any mc or lc when there is a steep drop like this one?

@Rhiannon - I think she missed the memo about a slow descent. :lol: I expect another floor shortly.

@Helen - I could feed her some HC to slow her down, but I want to see what she'll do. Sometimes she'll nadir at +5.5 but if I feed her HC now, I'll have to be up after +6 since it takes a couple hours to wear off. Since Neko is an acrocat, she has a working pancreas and LC could get the pancreas working and take the numbers even lower. Not sure about MC - I need to experiment with that. I have given her 8%LC and that experiment failed, dropped her numbers quickly.

So much for the request for an early nadir. It's gravy time. Absolutely no symptoms, snoozing away.
