Frankie is going to the Vet today.
I came home and saw that he had thrown up sonetime yesterday, threw up this morning and 3x times went to his litter box and was howling (I mean HOWLING) and couldnt either urinate or defecate.
4:30 Today Thursdays are not a good day. Last Thursday I took Chubbs to the Vet and he never came home. Today its Frankie.

Jay, We hope that Frankie's problem is just something he ate and that the vet visit will fix him up. You both need a little peace and quiet in your lives right now! Sending healing vines to Frankie, and good wishes to you.

Hooray for getting him to the vet pronto -- if he's blocked, that is an emergency.

I thought you were getting him in at 9AM????? If your vet can't see him until 4:30 this afternoon and he hasn't urinated and he's howling in pain you should take him to Oradell Animal Hospital which has an emergency 24 hour service. They will see him and this sounds like an emergency. A blocked cat can get very sick very very fast. I'm sorry to scare you but you need to read this...Google "Urinary Blockage in cats". Your break won't seem so important.
ETA: I just want anyone who reads this to know that I got a private email about this first thing when I woke up. I am not trying to be mean...I am worried about Frankie. If someone is worried enough to email me with a description of a 'howling' cat, I expect that cat to be at the vet when the door opens
