Congratulations on the reduction. Good job stopping the drop. I hope Tilica surfs there for you.

Hi Wendy, starting from tomorrow the dose will be 1,25 very difficult to eyeball, it's a tiny reduction.
Anyway, these drops I don't understand. Other time at thae same dose and food he was on the rise after 2 hours. I think that his pancreas works in case like this, and the usual dose becomes overdose. I don't know....

I know those in between doses are hard. My Neko was sensitive to even smaller changes. Since he is coming down in dose, his pancreas is starting to work better than it was before. It's just not healed enough yet to take over.

Good catch and congrats on the reduction! This feline diabetic dance can change from day to day. That's why it's so important to test.

The doses that aren't on the lines are sometimes hard to read. I bought a powerful pair of readers to help and used a magnifying glass.

Thanks Wendy, obviously his pancreas is not healed, and I don't think that it will be but in these cases Lantus acts like a fast acting insulin.

Hi Bobbie, I have to buy a magnifying glass me too, for a right dosage but untill I get one I have to eyeball 1.25 and these days is Easter and nobody is working:confused:

It's hard to measure small dose fractions, Andreea. You just do the best you can and try to be consistent. Maybe some strong reading glasses from the pharmacy would help you see the syringe lines better.

Yes Kris, maybe tomorrow morning I can get a pair of glasses from pharmacy or supermarket.
Besides we already know that the bounce will be at work:bighug:
