Hi Everyone,
Stu didn't like his EVO 95% duck and didn't eat much from his Automat at 4 A.M. But he had a good breakfast (By Nature 95% turkey & turkey liver), good litterbox action, and is feeling fine this morning. I am worried that my Relion Uttima meter and/or its test strips may be acting up. Yesterday I got a test-strip error on one of the strips from a new box (see my last post in yesterday's condo, where there are details). This morning I got a meter error. After the error the meter seems to be OK, but I'm wondering if I should trust it or get another one. When I get home this afternoon I'm going to call Walmart.
I'll be out with my hiking group today, but DH is here to observe and feed Stu. Although he can't test (low vision), he knows what to do if Stu looks like he's going low. I don't expect any problems (anti-jinx)!! So I'll get a +2 and then probably a +9 when I get home.

Well, it sounds like a rematch to me....I mean, if you are saying that the numbers he got yesterday might not be correct......
Shadow's victory is in question now. Hmmmm.....
He is strutting around now saying "I am the King...I am the MAN. Hear me ROAR" so I hate to shatter his visions of glory.....
well, maybe we will just have to have a DO OVER another day....today is not good since you won't be around....
I told him I didn't want races to the bottom of the BG scale...but maybe races to #50 would be okay....but nothing <49 preferably.

It sounds like Stu and Shadow are up to something.
I hope you get your meter/ stips problem straightened out.

Nice drop this AM. When I had a problem w/ my meter once I reseated the battery and blew out the strip port. I think there was cat hair or something in it. Hoe could that have happened? :lol:

I had trouble with that meter & the strips too.. I'm back with my accu check aviva--It's old reliable..
Stu, we would really likee to see some GREEN already for you & Moonie!!--She was almost there just now!!

Nova graciously excepts your invitation Stu.. and asks if you can keep some of your back room after the catnips been out card open for her.. yeah.. she's pretty forward ;)

Nice numbers for today. I'm wondering if a little more juice might bring Stu's overall level down a bit.
 
Sienne, Do you mean a fat 1.50 or do you think I should go back up to 1.75? I'll try a fat 1.50 tomorrow morning. (This evening's PMPS +4 is rather on the high side.) 1.75 was the dose that Stu got those really low numbers on. It's clear that he has lost some momentum in the last 10 days. But at the same time, he is really frisky and happy right now.
