Rosa, I'm really not sure I like the direction these numbers are going in. I need you to come back down and start giving me more green numbers again please.

Thank you! Very definitely being the over-protective mom at the moment - I don't like seeing blue at all right now! She's back down just under 100 now of course - I was fairly sure she would be once she'd eaten and moved around a bit and of course the very last of her depot probably just disappeared yesterday so I'm hoping the slightly higher number first thing this morning is her adjusting to that and it'll start coming back down a touch in the next day or so.

Depot last 4-6 cycles - it's long gone. This is Rosa doing things on her own. Go Rosa!! Happy Day 6.

I would, definitely, like more green at the first attempt! I know the numbers are still normal - I just don't like seeing 3 digits come up on the meter instead of 2 right now. Hopefully she'll get back into steady green in the next day or so!! I've warned her I still have her Lantus in the fridge if she doesn't behave herself!

Oh, I'm still happy that she's staying in normal numbers...it's still a celebration here every time I take a reading because they've all come in under 120. And every time I retest after an hour or so, she's back down under the 100 so I think I need to keep an eye on when she's eating and make sure I test after she eats not before - it really does seem to make a difference with her.

Ok Rosa, I'm onto your little game. You're just giving me those higher numbers so you get more tests, or more importantly more treats, an hour or so later aren't you?

Remember...there's that 20% variance.....the other day, China gave me a 100....she'd been green all day so I just put in a 99....made me feel better.....LOL

Oh but I prefer to think she's doing it on purpose! Though I almost didn't retest that 102 tonight - I figured it was close enough and still well within normal range. But I was here anyway, she was sitting here...she was looking at me as though I'd forgotten something again - she just wants the treats!

Look at the end of Vyktors SS and smile - he's just passed his 3 yr anniversary of OTJ - Rosa is doing great. I think Vyktor did it on purpose just to freak me out too

They do love to get us with the occasional higher number don't they? I'm sure she's doing it on purpose now - she gave me the exact same 113 this morning as she did yesterday morning. I'm going to get her again in a bit now she's woken up properly and eaten her food - that seems to bring her back down a bit fairly quickly!
