4/14 Noxin AMBG +11.5 103, +12 94

Noxin's condo from yesterday is HERE.

Noxin is in the green, and lower than a half hour ago.

Advice? Should I really be shooting green? I am only going to be home for the next 3 hours so I won't see him again until his PMBG.

You are not in the 50s.

I would not feed and check again in 15 minutes to see where Noxin is going..

This exercise will show you when he turns and if you are starting to work the dose overlap.

It's a good idea to stall for 15-30 minutes and retest....don't feed yet. You don't want to shoot a dropping number.

He isn't low enough to need food to bump him up.

Hes 97 now. I need to shoot now if I do. It's 15 mins past the time I shoot him.

I will not be home to watch him for more than three hours, so my concern lies there.

I think you will be OK to stall another 15 minutes. If he's still rising then I would go ahead and shoot.

This number isn't enough for me to tell if he is turning or surfing.

Just tested again. 20 mins or so since last test. He's 94 again.

It looks like he's surfing. Without much data, and you having to leave, I would either shoot just a drop or skip. What do you think?

It's over half an hour since his shot time (tomorrow I leave early for work and would've had to shoot him early too).

I was playing with the syringe like people suggested last night (twisting really does work nice!), and it looks like yesterday I only gave him about one big drop of Lantus.

I think I'll skip and see what he does when I get home.

Cherie, are you going to have a day when you are home soon? It would be good to try to get two shots in a row when you can collect data....that would help you see what he will do when you aren't there.

It's fine to skip, safety first...you will get more comfortable when you get more data.

Of course you can feed now...and I would get another test before you leave, just see where he is heading.

I get my work schedule for next week later today, so I'll find out soon when my next days off are.

I'll post his number when I leave in a little over 2 hours.

Now....I need coffee ~O)
 
What an exciting day for Noxin, but I know stressful for you, especially when you need to leave her. You're getting excellent help here for Noxin. I hope Noxin surfs some nice safe numbers while you're gone today. Take care.
