4/14 Moe: post dental AMPS=170;+3=371;+6=368;+9=389;PMPS=394;+2=403;+6=342;+10=321

Hey everyone. It’s the morning after Moe’s dental on 4/13. His BG very early this morning was 67(!!) but he ate a bit and AMPS is 170. He’s had his antibiotic pill and morning dose of bupe. Now eating another serving of TikiCat mousse.

371 at +3. It’s going to be an interesting couple of days!

Remember, we dose based on nadirs, not preshots. You are really draining the depot now. It's not uncommon to have a "strong" cycle the one after a skip, that's what you had last night.

Are you still planning to dose according to the vet's plan based on preshots?

He is eating right now. He came out of his cupboard immediately when I showed him his bowl. He’s struggling a little, even though it’s a mousse type food. Looks like he’s having some discomfort even though he had bupe this morning. Next dose is in a couple of hours.

I will probably give 3.0 units for tonight’s shot. I’m not comfortable giving more than that while he’s still got all those meds in his system.
