PPIGS Report:
1. Picky: DH stole my thunder again today. He tested and fed before I could drag my sorry behind out of bed, so I'm not sure if Jersey was a picky eater this morning. She was licking her lips as I walked into the kitchen. This may be a sign that she ate; it could also be a sign that she is preparing to attack. I just wish I knew which one of us she wants to attack. :?
2. Plotting: I have found no concrete evidence of plotting this morning. However, Jersey does have "that look" on her face, which leads me to believe she is considering how she might attain a dead squirrel to place on my bedroom pillow while I'm at work. Thank goodness she's a lousy hunter.
3: Inside-Outside Game: Jersey has attempted to play the inside-outside game this morning and is not pleased that the human will not allow her to do so. Sorry, Jerz, the human has to go off to work this AM and doesn't have time to stalk you across the yard and pluck you out of a tree. Bonus: Keeping Jersey indoors this morning also limits her ability to attain a dead squirrel that will be placed on my pillow......
4. Growling: In place. DH said that she growled him during the bg check this morning. Hehehehehe. That's what you get for stealin' my thunder, buddy.
5. Stalking: Jersey has stalked me from one room to the next this morning. Hoping I will play the inside-outside game? Hoping I will trip over da bird, which she conveniently left on the bathroom floor, in the hopes that she can attack when I do a face plant? Hard to say, hard to say.....
Since I report on Jersey's evilness all the time, I thought it was important to mention that she actually wanted snuggles last night. She jumped up on the couch with me and began making biscuits on the fleece blanket. She just purred as I petted her. cat_pet_icon Then she slobbered on me! Three big drops of saliva dripped out of her mouth onto my arm. My parents have a cat who always gets so excited when we pet her that she slobbers all over everything, but this is a new one for Jersey. I'm wondering if this may be a part of her master plan for my demise. Infect the human with a slobber disease?
My thoughts and prayers remain with Rachel. I'm also sending out lots of appy vines, poo vines, tummy vines, and healing vines for all the kitties.
May you all have sunshine in your lives today (but greens and blues on your spreadsheets)!
Shelly
