Good morning, we are trucking along at day 3 of current dose. So far nothing great happening, if nothing stellar happens, we will probably bump up tomorrow morning.

Feeling sad and thinking of our friend @Marje and Gracie as she just lost her sweet, beloved Tobey
Sending many prayers, love and condolences to her family at this very sad time

New Libre will be activated shortly today. Hoping that all goes well

So sorry to hear about Tobey hate to hear anyone lose their companions, but Marje is such a big part of this place and has helped so many cats. I’m sure she did an excellent job caring for him and he felt that every day.

Hi, I hope you and Ivy are well. I haven't been on in such a while, too much to go into. Just wanted to ask how Ivy was doing with her thyroid- I see you switched to a methimazole pill on your SS? Hope that is going ok. Abby is still on transdermal--not working well :-( Jack plays games, so no real changes for him. I'm sorry to hear Marje lost her furbaby. Prayers for her and her family. Wishing you well, always in my thoughts and prayers.

Yes, Ivy’s been in the pills since November and doing better.
Her T4 finally came down and into “high normal” range about 2 months ago.
As you know, lots of testing to stay on top of it all and the vet visits. Sigh.

She’s doing well and is a happy girl (when not pissed off, her spicy/sweet nature).

Thanks for checking on us, we miss you and hope things calm down soon.

Hi Jessica, At the moment I can’t really say we are doing anything specific.
I used to give a binder mixed in her food, but we stoped that as they thought she doesn’t need it right now.
(Her numbers are in her spreadsheet, Labs tab).
Could be the hyperthyroidism is masking her true kidney function.

I originally had her current food recipe formulated to address kidney disease (before FD diagnosed). Recipe was tweaked when FD was diagnosed but it was really just carbs lowered to 6%.
Do we are really trying to balance FD, IBD, hyperthyroidism, CKD
